Abstract

An exact analytical expression is found for the density matrix of a system composed of a photon mode and two two-level dipole-dipole interacting atoms in a cavity with losses. The behavior of the atom-atom entanglement has been investigated on the basis of the Peres-Horodecki criterion.

Atom-atom entanglement in a not-resonant two-photon Tavis-Cummings model

Maria O. Guslyannikova, Eugene K. Bashkirov

The entanglement between two two-level atoms (qubits) interacting not-resonantly with a one mode of thermal field in a lossless cavity via effective degenerate two-photon transitions is investigated. Based on the exact solution for the time-dependent density matrix of the system under consideration, negativity is calculated as a measure of the entanglement of atoms. The influence of a detuning on the dynamics of entanglement of atoms for separable and entangled initial atomic states and thermal cavity state is investigated.

One-atom maser theory: photon losses and spectra

Alexander V. Gorokhov, Ilya E. Sinaiski

The Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM) of two-level atom interacting with the photon mode in ideal cavity plays an essential role in modern quantum optics. In previous papers an exact form of density matrix of the JCM with photons dissipation was found. In this article it is considered a partial case of cavity with zero temperature and obtained an exact expression for photon spectra and spectra of the mean number of photons in a cavity.

Entanglement of Two Dipole-Coupled Atoms

Eugene K. Bashkirov, Башкиров Евгений Константинович, M P Spupatskaya +1 more

In the present paper the entanglement of two atoms with dipole interaction induced by two-mode thermal field in ideal cavity has been investigated. The exact analytical formula for evolution operator of system considered has been derived. On its basis the Peres-Horodetski entanglement parameter has been calculated. It has been shown that, despite the destructive nature of thermal noise, dipole interaction leads to a high degree of atomic entanglement.

Entanglement in the degenerate two-photon Tavis–Cummings model

Eugene K. Bashkirov

An exact solution of the problem of two two-level atoms with degenerate two-photon transitions interacting with a one-mode coherent radiation field is presented. Asymptotic solutions for system state vectors are obtained in the approximation of large initial coherent fields. The atom–field entanglement is investigated on the basis of reduced atomic entropy dynamics. The possibility of the system being initially in a pure disentangled state to revive into this state during the evolution process for the model considered is shown. The conditions and times of disentanglement are derived.
