A new generalization of the t - J model with a nearest-neighbour hopping is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe ansatz method in the thermodynamic limit. The model describes the dynamics of fermions with different spins and with isotropic and anisotropic interactions.
A generalization of the $t\ensuremath{-}J$ model with a nearest-neighbor hopping is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe ansatz method. The model describes the dynamics of spin-S fermions with isotropic or anisotropic interactions. In the case S=1 the magnetic interaction is biquadratic in the spin operators. In contrast to the SU(N) generalization of the $t\ensuremath{-}J$ model, studied previously in the literature, the present model possesses beyond a massless excitation also a massive one. The physical properties indicate the existence of Cooper-type pairs with finite binding energy.
The one-dimensional SU(N)-invariant t-J model consists of electrons with N spin components on a lattice with nearest-neighbour hopping and spin exchange J. The multiple occupancy of the lattice sites is excluded. The model is integrable at the supersymmetric point, t=J. The discrete Bethe ansatz equations are analysed and the solutions are classified according to the string hypothesis. The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are derived for arbitrary band filling in terms of thermodynamic energy potentials for the classes of eigenstates of the Hamiltonian. These equations are solved in limiting cases, e.g., S=1/2, the ground state and the high-temperature limit. If the charge fluctuations are suppressed the Bethe ansatz equations map onto those of the SU(N)-invariant Heisenberg chain.
One parametric one-dimensional spinless fermion models is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe ansatz method. The Hamiltonian contains the kinetic terms describing nearest-neighbor hopping of electrons with different hopping integrals for many particle configurations. The Luttinger liquid behavior is studied for the case repulsion effective interactions. The ground state energy, the critical exponent, describing the asymptotic behavior of the density-density correlation function at long distances, the Fermi velocity have been calculated numerically for an arbitrary density of electrons. The model displays the condensation of particles in the case of the attractive interaction.
