Abstract

The simplified four-qubit cluster state (i.e., (|0000⟩ + |0011⟩ + |1100⟩ - |1111⟩)/2) is explored for splitting an arbitrary single-qubit quantum information (QI). Various feasible distributions of the four qubits among the QI sender and receivers for tri-splitting or bi-splitting are found out. For the distribution representations the corresponding splitting schemes and their LOCCs (local operation and classical communication) are presented amply while others are mentioned concisely.

A QUANTUM SPLITTING SCHEME OF ARBITRARY TWO-QUBIT STATE USING FOUR-QUBIT CLUSTER STATE

Guixia Pan, Yimin Liu, Xiaofeng Yin +2 more

In this paper, we explore the channel capacity of the 4-qubit 4-term cluster state (i.e. (|0000〉 + |0011〉 + |1100〉 - |1111〉)/2) for splitting arbitrary two-qubit quantum information. After our extensive investigations, we found that 4 out of 12 possible distributions of the 4 qubits can be utilized to realize bipartite splitting. In terms of each distribution, the corresponding splitting scheme is presented and LOCCs (local operation and classical communication) are explicitly given.

Quantum Information Splitting of an Arbitrary Three-Qubit State by Using Cluster States and Bell States

Yuanhua Li, Jun-Chang Liu, Yi-you Nie

A new application of cluster states is investigated for quantum information splitting (QIS) of an arbitrary three-qubit state. In our scheme, a four-qubit cluster state and a Bell state are shared by a sender (Alice), a controller (Charlie), and a receiver (Bob). Both the sender and controller only need to perform Bell-state measurements (BSMs), the receiver can reconstruct the arbitrary three-qubit state by performing some appropriately unitary transformations on his qubits after he knows the measured results of both the sender and the controller. This QIS scheme is deterministic.

Quantum-information splitting using multipartite cluster states

Sreraman Muralidharan, Prasanta Kumar Panigrahi

We provide various schemes for the splitting up of quantum information into parts using four- and five-partite cluster states. Explicit protocols for the quantum information splitting (QIS) of single- and two-qubit states are illustrated. It is found that the four-partite cluster state can be used for QIS of an entangled state and the five-partite cluster state can be used for QIS of an arbitrary two-qubit state. The schemes considered here are also secure against certain eavesdropping attacks.

Quantum Information Splitting of a Four-particle Cluster State

Mingsheng Ying

A scheme is presented for quantum information splitting of an unknown four-particle cluster state by using two non-maximally four-particle entangled states as the quantum channel. In this scheme, the sender generates the initial state and the quantum channel, and sends some of the particles to the controller and the receiver. The receiver can reconstruct a four-particle cluster state by performing appropriate unitary transformations on his qubits after the sender and controller perform the Bell-State measurements on their qubits, respectively.

TELEPORTATION CAPABILITY OF FOUR-QUBIT CLUSTER STATE IN ONE-VERSUS-THREE OR THREE-VERSUS-ONE QUBIT DISTRIBUTION

Hua‐Min Gao, Yimin Liu, Mingling Li +2 more

The capability of a one-dimensional four-qubit cluster state for teleportation is extensively investigated in the condition that the four qubits are non-averagely distributed between two locations. Because of the inherent qubit orientation of the cluster state, we found that only in eight distributions can an arbitrary single-qubit state be perfectly teleported from a sender to a receiver. For each case, the necessary local operations and classical communication (LOCC) are explicitly shown.
