Abstract

A scheme of one-way communication is presented using four-dimension two-particle system, which is based on the superdense coding combined with the classical binary coding. The information sender performs a unitary operation on the particles, and sends the particles to the information receiver. Then information receiver performs a joint measurement on the two particles after receiving the sender's particles. The information receiver can know the information sent by the senter according to the joint measurement results and the encoding rules. In this scheme,four-bit classical information can be encoded after performing one unitary transformation. The security of the one-way communication scheme is also analysed.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication with Four-Particle Genuine Entangled State and Dense Coding

Xiu Xiao-Ming, Li Dong, Gao Ya-Jun +1 more

A quantum secure direct communication scheme using dense coding is proposed. At first, the sender (Alice) prepares four-particle genuine entangled states and shares them with the receiver (Bob) by sending two particles in each entangled state to him. Secondly, Alice encodes secret information by performing the unitary transformations on her particles and transmits them to Bob. Finally, Bob performs the joint measurements on his particles to decode the secret information. The two-step security test guarantees the security of communication.

Scheme of Quantum Dialogue Based on Four-particle Omega State and Security of Intercept-resend Attack

Yang You-fen

A scheme of quantum dialogue was proposed based on four-particle omega state.First,Bob,a communication party, prepared a four-particle omega state, encoded classical secret information by performing an approprite unitary transformation on two particles of the omega state and sent them to Alice. Then,Alice also performed an approprite unitary transformation on the two particles to encode secret information and sent back to Bob.Finally,Bob made joint measurement to final omega state, and announced the results.Alice and Bob,two parties of communication, could decode classical information the opposite one transfers, according to the announced measurement results and itself unitary operator, making the bidirectional communication come true. The result shows that the communication scheme only transfers two particles and makes unitary operations twice, and two communication parties get the opposite four-bit classcical information. It realizes both two-way communication of classical information with quantum channel and dense encoding to improve the communication capacity. The Eve′s intercept-resend attack can be found in time by inserting decoy photons in the system to raise the security of communication system.

Quantum secure direct communication scheme based on d- dimensional Bell entangled state

Pengfei Weng, Hong Chen, Xiaoxia Cai +2 more

In order to improve the communication efficiency and security of Quantum Secure Direct Communication, a new Quantum Secure Direct Communication scheme based on d-dimension Bell entangled state is proposed. In the scheme, the receiver and the sender transport the d-dimensional Bell particles as secure test particles to ensure the security of communication. The receiver can calculate the security of the channel according to the measurement of d-dimensional Bell state particles, which is based on the entanglement properties of the d-dimensional Bell state. Secret information is transmitted through the other d-dimensional Bell state particles by dense coding technique. Then, the receiver can determine the security of the channel by comparing the measurements of the particles and makes a joint measurement of the transmitted particles to obtain secret information. Finally, the entropy theory is used to analyze the security of the protocol. Under the four dimensional Bell state, the transmission efficiency of the protocol is 90.90% and the efficiency of the quantum bit is 45.45%. The results show that the proposed scheme is safe and reliable and has high transmission efficiency.

QUANTUM SECURE DIRECT COMMUNICATION USING A SIX-QUBIT MAXIMALLY ENTANGLED STATE WITH DENSE CODING

Li Dong, Haikuan Dong, Xiao‐Ming Xiu +2 more

Using quantum dense coding, a quantum secure direct communication scheme with a six-qubit maximally entangled state is proposed. If the first security test is passed, the sender performs unitary transformations to encode the secret information on her particles and sends to the receiver. The receiver then performs projective measurements to decode the secret information. It enables the sender to transmit six-bit classical secret message by sending three particles to the receiver. The second security test is adopted to guarantee the security of the communication.

A scheme for quantum communication using EPR pairs and local measurement

Fengli Yan, Ting Gao

We present a scheme for quantum communication, where a set of EPR pairs, initially shared by the sender Alice and the receiver Bob, functions as a quantum channel. After insuring the safety of the quantum channel, Alice applies local measurement on her particles of the EPR pairs and informs Bob the encoding classical information publicly. According to Alice's classical information and his measurement outcomes on the EPR pairs Bob can infer the secret messages directly. In this scheme, to transmit one bit secret message, the sender Alice only needs to send one bit classical information to the receiver Bob. We also show that this scheme is completely secure if perfect quantum channel is used.

One-way deterministic secure quantum communication protocol based on single photons

Dongxiao Quan, Changxing Pei, Dan Liu +2 more

One-way deterministic secure quantum communication protocol based on single photons is proposed in this paper, in which the XOR operation by bits of the information sequence and random sequence is performed and the checking sequence is inserted before the sender’s coding operation. When the photons arrive at the receiver, they are delayed at the receiver, and the sender then publishes the coding basis, so the photons can be measured in the correct basis. Then the two parties estimate the security of the quantum channel by the checking bits. When the channel is secure the sender publishes the random bits where the receiver has results, and the information sequence can be recovered by the receiver. Even the channel is not secure, what the eavesdropper gets is the random sending sequence, the information sequence is still secure. This protocol has the advantages of higher transmission efficiency and easier implementation compared with the two-way communication.
