Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new version of quantum state sharing (QSTS) scheme of an arbitrary multi-qubit state. Then we extend the scheme to a general form of sharing an arbitrary multi-qudit state in the high-dimensional system. The schemes consider the most general case where an arbitrary quantum state can be shared among an arbitrary number of agents in a symmetric way that any agent can recover the state with the help of the others. Compared with a traditional QSTS scheme sharing an unknown state, our schemes are more efficient since the dealer only needs to perform a simpler measurement and consume less classical communication costs.

Cyclic quantum state sharing with a nine-qubit entangled state

Yueqi Liu, Gongxuan Zhang

Abstract In this paper, we present a novel scheme for cyclic quantum state sharing (QSTS) by using a nine-qubit entangled state as quantum channel. In this scheme, each of the three dealers has a different unknown quantum state, and every dealer wants two agents to share his/her quantum state. At the same time, three dealers perform Bell basis measurements on his/her own qubits, and the controllers make a single-qubit measurement on his/her own qubits, after that, the receivers can recover the original states by applying suitable unitary operations, respectively. It is shown that, only if all agents collaborate with each other, the cyclic QSTS can be completed with unit success probability.

An Efficient Scheme for Multiparty Multi-particle State Sharing

Shi Run-Hua, Liusheng Huang, Yang Wei +1 more

We present an efficient scheme for sharing an arbitrary m-qubit state with n agents. In our scheme, the sender Alice first shares m Bell states with the agent Bob, who is designated to recover the original m-qubit state. Furthermore, Alice introduces n − 1 auxiliary particles in the initial state |0⟩, applies Hadamard (H) gate and Controlled-Not (CNOT) gate operations on the particles, which make them entangled with one of m particle pairs in Bell states, and then sends them to the controllers (i.e., other n − 1 agents), where each controller only holds one particle in hand. After Alice performing m Bell-basis measurements and each controller a single-particle measurement, the recover Bob can obtain the original unknown quantum state by applying the corresponding local unitary operations on his particles. Its intrinsic efficiency for qubits approaches 100%, and the total efficiency really approaches the maximal value.

An efficient scheme for multi-party quantum state sharing via GHZ channels

Min Jiang, Daoyi Dong

We develop an innovative and efficient scheme to share an arbitrary multi-qubit state between n agents via only one GHZ channel under control of m agents in a network. Compared with existing ones in this literature, our scheme involves less qubits, only single-qubit measurements, Bell-basis measurement and CNOT gate operations and thus exhibits a higher overall efficiency.

MULTIPARTY QUANTUM STATE SHARING OF m-QUBIT STATE

Li Dong, Xiao‐Ming Xiu, Yajun Gao

A scheme for quantum state sharing (QSTS) of a one-particle state is proposed for a three-particle GHZ state utilized as a quantum channel. After the sender (Alice) makes Bell-state measurements (BM) on her particles, and the controller (Charlie) performs a computational basis measurement (CM), the recipient (Bob) only needs to carry out a unitary transformation of the classical information from the sender and the controller. Finally, the scheme is generalized to multiparty QSTS of a one-qubit state with n agents and an m-qubit state with n agents.

Multiple Multi-Qubit Quantum States Sharing

Huawang Qin, Yuewei Dai

Abstract A multiple multi-qubit quantum states sharing scheme is proposed, in which the dealer can share multiple multi-qubit quantum states among the participants through only one distribution and one recovery. The dealer encodes the secret quantum states into a special entangled state, and then distributes the particles of the entangled state to the participants. The participants perform the single-particle measurements on their particles, and can cooperate to recover the multiple multi-qubit quantum states. Compared to the existing schemes, our scheme is more efficient and more flexible in practice.

GENERALIZED QUANTUM TWO-QUBIT STATE SHARING VIA POSITIVE OPERATOR-VALUED MEASURE

Zhang-Yin Wang, Xingqiang Yang

By using a proper positive operator-valued measure (POVM), we present a new scheme for probabilistically implementing quantum state sharing of an arbitrary unknown two-qubit state with two non-maximally entangled three-qubit states. In this paper, the sender Alice averagely partitions its unknown original state with two Bell-state measurements and publishes her measurement results via a classical channel. Then by performing a proper POVM, it is shown that either of the two agents Bob or Charlie can recover the original state in a probabilistic manner provided that he/she gets another one's help. Lastly, we concisely generalize the tripartite scheme to a multi-party case.
