Abstract

We show theoretically that a Rydberg atom maser produces during its evolution a squeezed field with sub-Poissonian statistics. We give a semiclassical interpretation of this effect.Received 22 October 1984DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.54.326©1985 American Physical Society
