Abstract

Choosing I-concurrence as the measure of bipartite entanglement and using von Neumann projective local measurements, localizable entanglement (LE) in a three-qutrit system is studied. A superposition of the qutrit-coherentstate of this system is considered ant its LE is obtained and analyzed as a function of the relevant parameters. It is observed that one may achieve the maximal entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved.

An Entanglement Study of Superposition of Qutrit Spin-Coherent States

Mojtaba Jafarpour

Considering generalized concurrence as the criterion of entanglement, we study entanglement properties of superposition of two qutrit coherent states, as a function of their amplitudes. These states may attain maximum entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved. The states revealing maximum entanglement also display the maximum violations of the Bell-CHSH inequalities.

Analytical Solutions for Entanglement A Superposition of Spin Coherent States with Non-Phase Coherence Parameters

Mehrzad Ashrafpour, Morteza Ahmadi, Mojtaba Jafarpour

In this work, the entanglement of a superposition of bipartite qubit coherent states with non-phased coherent parameters is studied. We use Generalized-concurrence as the measure to quantify the entanglement and drive analytical results in terms of the effective parameters involved. Analyzing the results, we conclude that such states may attain maximum entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved.

Universal local measure of bipartite entanglement

Alexander A. Klyachko, Barış Öztop, A.S. Shumovsky

We show that the complete information about the amount of entanglement carried by a bipartite pure state of any dimension (qubits, qutrits, etc), is determined by a local quantity that can be measured for either party of the system. This quantity is expressed in terms of averages of certain basic observables. In particular case of two entangled photon beams, this corresponds to the measurement of three Stokes parameters for either beam.

Thermal localizable entanglement in a simple multipartite system

Daniele Teresi, Anna Napoli, ANTONINO MESSINA

The quantum correlations present in a system of three coupled spins 12 in a thermal state are investigated. Localizable entanglement, as well as concurrence function, is exactly evaluated. The results obtained show the existence of a temperature range corresponding to which it is impossible to localize entanglement.

Bipartite entanglement through nonorthogonal pure states

Mostafa Mansour

The purpose of this conference paper is to investigate the entanglement of a more general type of two qubitsnonorthogonal pure state by using the linear entropy as a measure of the degree of bipartite entangle-ment. Moreover, we study the behaviour of this entanglement measure in the context of Su(2)-coherentstates theory and we reformulate it as a function of some new parameters that specify coherent states. Finally we find some conditions for maximal and minimal entanglement of nonorthogonal states interms of the amplitudes of spin coherent states
