Explicit derivation of the Pauli spin matrices from the Jones vector

Jairo Alonso Mendoza Suárez, Hernando González Sierra, Francis Segovia-Chaves

Using dyadic representations elaborated from vectors of Jones, and calculating relations of anti-commutation of these tensorial forms, we obtain in shape explicit the Pauli spin matrices.

New integrable models from fusion

Z. Maassarani

Integrable multistate or multiflavour/colour models were recently introduced. They are generalizations of models corresponding to the defining representations of the quantum algebras. Here I show that a similar generalization is possible for all higher-dimensional representations. The R -matrices and the Hamiltonians of these models are constructed by fusion. The sl (2) case is treated in some detail and the spin-0 and spin-1 matrices are obtained in explicit forms. This provides in particular a generalization of the Fateev-Zamolodchikov Hamiltonian.
