Experimental Tests of τ‐Ordered Quantum Dynamics: A Protocol for Detecting Time-Drag–Induced Deviations from Standard Quantum Mechanics

Cooney, Paul

This paper develops concrete, experimentally accessible tests of the τ-ordered formulation of quantum dynamics derived from the screened time-drag scalar field. The proposed protocols identify observables that would deviate from standard quantum predictions if τ ordering modifies phase accumulation or decoherence rates. Practical implementations include precision interferometry, trapped-ion coherence measurements, optomechanical phase-shift experiments, and ultra-stable clock comparisons. Together, these tests provide the first systematic empirical strategy for distinguishing τ-ordered quantum dynamics from conventional t-ordered quantum mechanics. Keywords: τ-ordering, quantum foundations, interferometry, decoherence, precision clocks, time-drag scalar, experimental test of quantum structure, foundational physics.
