Gheorghe Ardelean, Ion I. Cotǎescu

In this paper the small relativistic correction for the energy eigenvalues of the two- and three-dimensional anisotropic quantum harmonic oscillator are calculated, using as eigenstates [Formula: see text], for different values of the relativistic parameters βi ≡ ħwi / m0c2 with i = 1, 2 and 3.

THE QUANTIZATION RULE AND MASLOV INDEX

Xiaoyan Gu

Within extensions of the new quantization rule approach in arbitrary dimensions, the Maslov indices and energy spectra of some exactly solvable potentials are presented. We find that the Maslov index for the harmonic oscillator in three dimensions agrees well with those obtained by other methods.
