Abstract

A quantum secure direct communication protocol over a collective rotating channel is proposed. The protocol encodes logical bits in noiseless subspaces, and so it can function over a quantum channel subjected to an arbitrary degree of collective rotating noise. Although entangled states are used, both the sender and receiver are only required to perform single-particle product measurement or Pauli operations. The protocol is feasible with present-day technique.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication Protocol over the Collective Rotation Noisy Channel

Pan Ri-jing

A two-way quantum secure direct communication protocol against a collective rotation noise is presented. The protocol encodes one logical bit in two-qubit noiseless states, and so it can function over a quantum channel subjected to collective rotation.Since there is no basis mismatch in the decoding process, the intrinsic high efficiency is achieved. Moreover, the security of the proposed protocol against some common attacks is analysed, which shows that it is secure in theory.

Robust quantum secure direct communication with a quantum one-time pad over a collective-noise channel

Cheng Zhang

We present two robust quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) schemes with a quantum one-time pad over a collective-noise channel. Each logical qubit is made up of two physical qubits and it is invariant over a collective-noise channel. The two photons in each logical qubit can be produced with a practically entangled source, i.e., a parametric down-conversion source with a beta barium borate crystal and a pump pulse of ultraviolet light. The information is encoded on each logical qubit with two logical unitary operations, which will not destroy the antinoise feather of the quantum systems. The receiver Bob can read out the sender’s message directly with two single-photon measurements on each logical qubit, instead of Bell-state measurements, which will make these protocols more convenient in a practical application. With current technology, our two robust QSDC schemes are feasible and may be optimal ones.

Fault-tolerant controlled quantum secure direct communication over a collective quantum noise channel

Chun‐Wei Yang, Chia‐Wei Tsai, Tzonelih Hwang

This work proposes controlled quantum secure direct communication (CQSDC) over an ideal channel. Based on the proposed CQSDC, two fault-tolerant CQSDC protocols that are robust under two kinds of collective noises, collective-dephasing noise and collective-rotation noise, respectively, are constructed. Due to the use of quantum entanglement of the Bell state (or logical Bell state) as well as dense coding, the proposed protocols provide easier implementation as well as better qubit efficiency than other CQSDC protocols. Furthermore, the proposed protocols are also free from correlation-elicitation attack and other well-known attacks.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication Protocol Based on Cluster Entangled State

Huang Hong-Mei

We present a new quantum secure direct communication protocol with three-particle entangled state. The communication parties utilize decoy photons to check eavesdropping. The sender encodes the secret message with unitary transformation, we can directly transmit secret message with Bell-basis measurement and Z-basis measurement. The protocol is efficient in that all entangled states are used to transmit the secret message and two bits message can be transmitted one time, the preparation of three-particle entangled state is realized technique, the protocol is feasible to operate. The protocol is also verified to be secure for a noise quantum channel.

Quantum secure direct communication with pure entangled states

Jian Wang, Quan Zhang, Chaojing Tang

We present a quantum secure direct communication protocol where the channels are not maximally entangled states. The communication parties utilize decoy photons to check eavesdropping. After ensuring the security of the quantum channel, the sender encodes the secret message and transmits it to the receiver by using Controlled-NOT operation and von Neumann measurement. The protocol is simple and realizable with present technology. We also show the protocol is secure for noisy quantum channel.
