Improved scheme for probabilistic transformation and teleportation of multi-particle quantum states

Abstract

In most probabilistic teleportation schemes, if the teleportation fails, the unknown quantum state will be completely ruined. In addition, the frequently proposed high-dimensional unitary operations are very difficult to realize experimentally. To maintain the integrity of the unknown quantum state to be teleported, this analysis does not focus attention on the original multi-particle state but seeks to construct a faithful channel with an ancillary particle and a unified high-dimensional unitary operation. The result shows that if the construction of the multi-group Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pair succeeds, the original multi-particle state can be used to deterministically teleport the unknown quantum state of the entangled multiple particles which avoids undermining the integrity of the unknown state brought about by failure. This unified high-dimensional operation is appealing due to the obvious experimental convenience.

A new representation and probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state

Li Dong, Xiu Xiao-Ming, Gao Ya-Jun

A new representation of an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state is presented at first. As an application, a scheme for teleporting an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state is proposed when N pairs of two-particle non-maximally entangled states are utilized as quantum channels. After Alice (sender) makes Bell-state measurement on her particles, Bob (recipient) introduces an auxiliary particle and carries out appropriate unitary transformation on his particle and the auxiliary particle depending on classical information from Alice. Then, von Neumann measurement that confirms whether the teleportation succeeds or not is performed by Bob on the auxiliary particle. In order to complete the teleportation, another N -1 times operations need to be performed which are similar to the above ones. It can be successfully realized with a certain probability which is determined by the product of the smaller coefficients of non-maximally entangled pairs. All possible unitary transformations are given in detail.

Multiparticle Generalization of Teleportation

Chui‐Ping Yang, Guang‐Can Guo

A scheme for teleporting an unknown quantum state of many particles is proposed. The scheme operates essentially by prearranging the sharing of an Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-correlated pair of particles every time. We show that after performing a series of Bell-state measurements and single-particle unitary transformations, the unknown state of many particles, which was destroyed at one place, can be reconstructed at another place. Our scheme is actually obtained by generalizing an earlier scheme of Bennett et al. [ Phys. Rev. Lett. 70 (1993) 1895 ; 76 (1996) 722 ] known as quantum teleportation to the multiparticle case.

Deterministic teleportation channel using bell state measurements only

Min Jiang, Xu Huang, Yiming Zhou

Teleportation schemes based on probabilistic channels usually rely heavily on the implementation of high-dimensional unitary operations. Since high-dimensional unitary operations are very difficult to directly implement in physics experiments, methods are used to avoid high-dimensional unitary operations during the teleportation process. This paper describes how to construct a deterministic teleportation channel and a control channel using Bell state measurements only instead of high-dimensional unitary operations. Here, the general four-particle and five-particle class states are used as the potential quantum channel and the control channel for deterministic teleportation even without access to the relevant parameters. The results show that this scheme makes physical realization of teleportation more reasonable.

Quantum state transformation and general design scheme on teleportation protocols

Min Jiang, Xu Huang, LiuLie Zhou +2 more

We present a scheme for probabilistic transformation of special quantum states assisted by auxiliary qubits. In our scheme, if quantum states can be rewritten in a particular form, it is possible to transform such states into other states using lower-dimensional unitary operations that can be more easily realized in physical experiments. Furthermore, as an important application, we propose a generalized scheme that helps construct faithful quantum channels via various probabilistic channels when considering the existence of nonmaximally-entangled states.

Probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary three-particle state via a partial entangled four-particle state and a partial entangled pair

Hong‐Yi Dai, Cheng-Zu Li, Ping‐Xing Chen

We present a scheme to probabilistically teleport an arbitrary and unknown three-particle state via a two-particle non-maximally entangled state and a four-particle non-maximally entangled state as the quantum channel. With the help of Bell-state measurements, an arbitrary three-particle state can be perfectly teleported if a receiver introduces a collective unitary transformation. All kinds of unitary transformations are given in greater detail. This scheme can be generalized to the teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown multiparticle state.

Probabilistic Teleportation of a Four-Particle Entangled State

You-Bang Zhan, Hao Fu, Dong Zheng-Chao

A Scheme for teleporting an unknown four-particle entangled state is proposed via entangled swapping. In this scheme, four pairs of entangled particles are used as quantum channel. It is shown that, if the four pairs of particles are nonmaximally entangled, the teleportation can be successfully realized with certain probability if a receiver adopts some appropriate unitary transformations.
