Entropy squeezing and atomic Wehrl density for the interaction between SU(1,1) Lie algebra and a three-level atom in presence of laser field

A.‐S. F. Obada, Nawal A. Alshehri, Eied Mahmoud Khalil +2 more

In this paper, we investigate a system Hamiltonian describing the interaction between SU(1,1) quantum system and a three-level atom in Λ configuration in presence of a classical external field. Appropriate conical transformations are performed for the atom matrices. The analytical solution of the model is obtained by using the Schrödinger equation. Then the atomic density operator of the proposed system is obtained. The effect of the detuning parameter and the classical external field on the atomic levels occupation, atomic entropy squeezing, variance squeezing, atomic Q-function and atomic Wehrl density are investigated for certain chosen values of the classical field parameter and the detuning parameter. The obtained results has a potential applications to topics related to ideal and real laser.

Entanglement of a general formalism Λ-type three-level atom interacting with a non-correlated two-mode cavity field in the presence of nonlinearities

A.‐S. F. Obada, A. A. Eied, G. M. Abd Al-Kader

We investigate the evolution of the atomic quantum entropy and the atom–field entanglement in a system of a Λ-configuration three-level atom interacting with a two-mode field with additional forms of nonlinearities of both the field and the intensity-dependent atom–field coupling. With the derivation of the unitary operator within the frame of the dressed state and the exact results for the state of the system we perform a careful investigation of the temporal evolution of the entropy. A factorization of the initial density operator is assumed, considering the field to be initially in a non-correlated two-mode squeezed coherent or binomial state. The effects of the mean photon number, detuning, Kerr-like medium and the intensity-dependent coupling functional on the entropy are analysed.

Three-Dimensional Atom Localization and Microscopy in a Three-Level Λ-Type Atomic Configuration

Najm Uddin, Attaullah Khan, Afaz Uddin +2 more

This paper introduces a method for achieving precise three-dimensional atomic microscopy within a three-level Λ-type configuration, utilizing a probe field and a standing-wave control field. The microscopy information is derived from the imaginary part of the effective susceptibility, which reveals the absorption spectrum. Applications of this approach to atomic microscopy are demonstrated for scenarios involving two atoms and interactions near boundary walls. The atomic positions are precisely controlled through parameters such as detunings (∆), field strengths (β1, p), decay rates (γa, b), and field phases (ϕ1y, ϕ1z). The theoretical findings presented in this study highlight the potential for significant advancements in applications such as laser cooling and nanolithography.
