Abstract

In this paper, we study the suppression of adiabatic decoherence of a three-level atom with Λ configuration using the bang–bang control technique. We give the decoupling bang–bang operation group, and programme a sequence of periodic radio frequency twinborn pulses to realize the control process. Moreover, we study the process with practical conditions and establish the condition for efficient suppression of adiabatic decoherence.

In this paper, we study the suppression of adiabatic decoherence in a three-level atom with $Λ$ configuration using bang-bang control technique. We have given the decoupling bang-bang operation group, and programmed a sequence of periodic radio frequency twinborn pulses to realize the control process. Xiao-Shu Liu, Re-Bing Wu, Yang Liu +2 more

In this paper, we study the control problem of adiabatic decoherence in a three-level atom. We will find the decoupling bang-bang group for various configurations, including the V configuration and the cascade type of three-level atom subjected to adiabatic decoherence. We also give the programs to design a sequence of periodic twinborn pulses to suppress the decoherence.

In this paper, we present the decoupling bang-bang (BB) twin-born pulses to suppress the general decoherence, both amplitude and phase decoherence, in a three-level atom in V- and Ξ-configurations. We give the exact sequence of periodic twinborn pulses in such systems.
