Entanglement properties between two atoms in the binomial optical field interacting with two entangled atoms

The temporal evolution of the degree of entanglement between two atoms in a system of the binomial optical field interacting with two arbitrary entangled atoms is investigated. The influence of the strength of the dipole–dipole interaction between two atoms, probabilities of the Bernoulli trial, and particle number of the binomial optical field on the temporal evolution of the atomic entanglement are discussed. The result shows that the two atoms are always in the entanglement state. Moreover, if and only if the two atoms are initially in the maximally entangled state, the entanglement evolution is not affected by the parameters, and the degree of entanglement is always kept as 1.

Selective Atomic Measurement to Influences of Entanglement Properties

LU Dao-ming

Considering three two-level atoms initially in the W state, two atoms of the three atoms were put into initially empty cavity and made resonant interaction. The atom-cavity entanglement evolution and entanglement evolution between two cavities were investigated. The influences of state-selective measurement of the atom outside cavity on entanglement properties were discussed. The results obtained using the numerical method show that atom-cavity entanglement property and entanglement property between two cavities are strengthened through the state-selective measurement of the atom outside the cavity.

The entanglement properties in the system of two double-level atoms trapped in two coupled cavities

LU Dao-min

We consider a system consisting of two two-level atoms interacting with two coupled cavities via a two-photon hopping. Two atoms are individually trapped in two coupled cavities. The evolution of the state vector of the system is given by solving the Schrodinger equation.Negativity is used to quantify the degree of entanglement.By means of the numerical calculations,we investigate the temporal evolution in the entanglement between atoms and that between atom and cavity.Through comparing the results of different cavity-cavity coupling coefficients, the influence of cavity-cavity coupling coefficient on the entanglement is discussed. The obtained results show that the atom-atom entanglement and atom-cavity entanglement both display the evolution which is from the irregular oscillations to quasi-periodic oscillation with the cavity-cavity coupling coefficient increasing. The average value of atom-atom entanglement and that of atom-cavity entanglement sometimes increase and sometimes decrease. It shows that there is non-linear relationship between atom-atom entanglement and cavity-cavity coupling coefficient,or between atom-cavity entanglement and cavity-cavity coupling coefficient. On the other hand, when the cavity-cavity coupling coefficient is small, the entanglement between atom and cavity exhibits the phenomenon of collapse and recovery.
