Abstract

Because the key issue in quantum information and quantum computing is entanglement, the investigation of the effects of environment, as a source of quantum dissipation, and interaction between environment and system on entanglement and quantum phase transition is important. In this paper, we consider two-qubit system in the anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ model with the Dzyaloshinskii-moriya interaction, and accompanied quantum dissipation. Using Lindblad dynamics, the coupling effect and also temperature effect on concurrence, as a measure of entanglement of system, is obtained. The role of DM interaction parameters in the evolution of entanglement is investigated. Furthermore, using derivative of concurrence, the effects of dissipation and DM interaction parameter on quantum phase transition are obtained. It should be noted that spin-orbit interaction or DM parameter intensively influence the process of impressments of dissipation on entanglement measure and quantum phase transition. The current research is very important in the topics of nanometric systems.

Thermal entanglement in the anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ model with the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Da-Chuang Li, Xianping Wang, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

The thermal entanglement is investigated in a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ system with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction. It is shown that the entanglement can be efficiently controlled by the DM interaction parameter and coupling coefficient J z . D x (the x -component parameter of the DM interaction) has a more remarkable influence on the entanglement and the critical temperature than D z (the z -component parameter of the DM interaction). Thus, by changing the DM interaction direction, we can get a more efficient control parameter to increase the entanglement and the critical temperature.

INFLUENCE OF ANISOTROPY AND MAGNETIC FIELD ON THERMAL ENTANGLEMENT IN HEISENBERG MODEL AND THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF MODEL

Milan R. Pantić, Nemanja Micić, Milica V. Pavkov-Hrvojević +2 more

The thermal entanglement in a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ system, also XYZ system, with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) couplings in an inhomogenous magnetic field, was studied. The effects of these two kinds of anisotropies on the thermal entanglement have been studied in detail in the concept for concurrence, the measure of entanglement. The analytical expressions of concurrence are obtained for this model. It is found that the DM interaction can enhance thermal entanglement and can be efficiently controlled by the DM interaction parameter and ehchange interaction Jx, Jy and Jz. When D is large enough, the entanglement can exist for larger temperatures and strong magnetic field. We also analysed thermodynamic properties of Heisenberg model and the most important results were shown in the paper.

Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions effects on the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit xxz spin system in non-Markovian environment

Georges Collince Fouokeng, Martin Tchoffo, Edwine Tendong +1 more

We investigate the exact entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, interacting with an anisotropic spin bath in thermal equi- librium at a temperature T, driven by an external magnetic field B along the z-axis. We establish that, for an initially entangled qubit pair, the DM interactions generate entanglement and enhance the entanglement in the revival region. The effects of the DM interaction are also seen to be very important at high temperatures and for weak coupling between the two qubits where it is seen to preserve entanglement. These effects are weakened when the magnetic field B and the Heisenberg coupling are switched on. If the two-qubits are prepared in an initially separable state, the DM in- teraction instead has a negative effect on their entanglement. On a whole entanglement can better be preserve in the spin chain even at high temperatures by increases the external magnetic field B and the Heisenberg couplings, and by tuning the strength of the DM interaction.

Entanglement evolution in an anisotropic two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ model with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Tao Chen, Huang Yan-Xia, Shan Chuan-Jia +3 more

This paper investigates the entanglement evolution of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction. The time evolution of the concurrence is studied for the initial pure entangled states cos θ |00⟩ + sin θ |11⟩ and cos φ |01⟩ + sin φ |10⟩ at zero temperature. The influences of Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction D , anisotropic parameter Δ and environment coupling strength γ on entanglement evolution are analysed in detail. It is found that the effect of noisy environment obviously suppresses the entanglement evolution, and the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction D acts on the time evolution of entanglement only when the initial state is cos φ |01⟩ + sin φ |10⟩. Finally, a formula of steady state concurrence is obtained, and it is shown that the stable concurrence, which is independent of different initial states and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction D , depends on the anisotropic parameter Δ and the environment coupling strength γ.

Thermal entanglement in the four-qubit Heisenberg XXZ model with the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction

Zhang Ying-Li, Bin Zhou

In this paper, we study the property of thermal entanglement in four-qubit Heisenberg model, where Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction is considered, and investigate the pairwise concurrences of two nearest-neighbor qubits and two next-neighbor qubits to study this entanglement property. The result shows that for the two-next-neighbor-qubit case, there exists pairwise concurrence neigher in ferromagnetic model nor in antiferromagnetic model; but for the two-nearest-neighbor-qubits case, the DM interaction and the parameter of the anisotropy exchange coupling have a significant influence on the pairwise entanglement and critical temperature Tc. Moreover, the pairwise concurrence will decrease with the increase of temperature. When the temperature execeds its critical value, the pairwise concurrence disappears. Therefore, the pairwise entanglement can be controlled and enhanced by choosing the appropriate parameters of the DM interaction and the anisotropy exchange coupling.

Entanglement in a three-qubit anisotropic HeisenbergXXZspin ring with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Ahmad Abliz, Jiangtao Cai, Guo‐Feng Zhang +1 more

We investigate the entanglement of a three-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ ring with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction in thermal equilibrium at temperature T in the presence of an external magnetic field B along the z-axis and obtain analytic expression for the concurrence, in which the dependence of the concurrence on the anisotropic coupling coefficient Jz, external magnetic field B, the DM interaction parameter D and temperature T is described. The DM interaction is found to have a more significant role than the others in increasing the critical temperature or the entanglement area. We also calculate the ground-state entanglement under various control parameters and give expressions for the quantum critical points at which quantum phase transition (QPT) takes place. These results show that one is able to produce, when it does not exist, or increase (up to some limit), when it exists, the concurrence so that the efficient control of entanglement by appropriate combinations of the tunable parameters may be possible.
