Abstract

We construct a new bipartite entangled-coherent state related to the total momentum, which composes a new quantum-mechanical representation. Some new squeezing operators can be derived via the entangled-coherent-state representation and some quantum master equation can be easily converted into a c-number equation and be solved.

New squeezing operator derived using the bipartite coherent entangled state representation

Hong-Yi Fan, Xubing Tang

Using the newly constructed bipartite coherent entangled state, we derive the corresponding squeezing operators, which have their own squeezing properties, in a natural way. The derivation is based on the method of integration within an ordered product of operators and the completeness relation of the bipartite coherent entangled state.

New Two-Mode Coherent-Intermediate-Entangled State and Its Squeezing Operator

Shi-Min Xu, Xing-Lei Xu, Hongqi Li

The coherent-intermediate-entangled state |α, x ⟩ λ,ν is proposed in the two-mode Fock Space, which exhibits both the properties of the coherent and entangled states. The |α, x ⟩ λ,ν makes up a new quantum mechanical representation, and the completeness relation of |α, x ⟩ λ,ν is proved by virtue of the technique of integral within an ordered product of operators. The corresponding squeezing operators are derived. Furthermore, Generalized P-representation is constructed in the coherent-intermediate-entangled state |α, x ⟩ λ,ν and the Schmidt decomposition of |α, x ⟩ λ,ν is investigated.

Four-mode coherent entangled state as an entanglement of two bipartite coherent entangled states

Liyun Hu, Hong-Yi Fan

By introducing a four-mode unitary operator U = exp[−iλ(X 1 P 2 + X 2 P 3 + X 3 P 4 + X 4 P 1)], we show how a four-mode coherent entangled state can be generated by entangling a two bipartite coherent entangled state. The corresponding squeezed vacuum state U|0000⟩ in four-mode Fock space is derived by virtue of the technique of integration within ordered production of operators, which exhibits the standard squeezing for the four-mode quadratures. A new ideal quantum mechanical representation |α, β, γ⟩ is constructed from U|0000⟩ in the limit of infinite squeezing, which possesses the properties of both coherent and entangled states. The entanglement involved in |α, β, γ⟩ is explained. A scheme for generating |α, β, γ⟩ is presented.

Multi-Partite EPR Entangled State Representation for Continuous Variables and Its Application in Squeezing Theory

姜年权

By extending the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) bipartite entanglement to an n-partite case, we construct the common eigenstate of the n-partite total coordinate and relative momenta for the continuous variables. The entanglement property of the state is shown. The classical dilation transform of variables in such a state induces a new n-mode squeezing operator related to an n-mode bosonic operator realization of SU(1,1) Lie algebra.

The construction, properties and applications of a new bipartite coherent-entangled state in the two-mode Fock space

Xiang‐Guo Meng, Ji‐Suo Wang, Bao‐Long Liang

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, we find a new kind of bipartite coherent-entangled state (CES) that exhibits both coherent state and entangled state properties. The set of CESs makes up a complete and partly nonorthogonal representation. Using an asymmetric beamsplitter we propose a simple experimental scheme for producing the CES. Finally, we present some new quantum states related to the CES and some applications of the CES to quantum optics.
