Continuous Variable Tripartite Entanglement and a Teleportation Network

Abstract

We experimentally generate a continuous variable tripartite entangled state and prove its full inseparability. By using this state, we develop a tripartite quantum teleportation network and perform teleportation of a coherent state with three different combinations of the sender, the receiver, and the controller.

Application of Bipartite and Tripartite Entangled State Representations in Quantum Teleportation of Continuous Variables

We mostly investigate two schemes. One is to teleport a multi-mode W-type entangled coherent state using a peculiar bipartite entangled state as the quantum channel different from other proposals. Based on our formalism, teleporting multi-mode coherent state or squeezed state is also possible. Another is that the tripartite entangled state is used as the quantum channel of controlled teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown continuous variable in the case of three participators.

Continuous-Variable Quantum Teleportation of Entangled Coherent States

Sun Yong, Man Zhong-Xiao, Yun‐Jie Xia

We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite case and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases.

Controlled teleportation of quantum with continuous variables

Apart from the sender and receiver,a third participant is also involved in the teleportation of quantum state with continuous variables,in which the third participant acts as the controller. Thus,a network is obtained of teleportation of quantum sate with continuous variables,in which any user may send quantum state to others.

Quantum teleportation with continuous variables: A survey

Stefano Pirandola, Stefano Mancini

Very recently, we took part in a new development of quantum information, the so-called continuous variable (CV) quantum information theory. Such a further development is mainly due to the experimental and theoretical advantages offered by CV systems, i.e., quantum systems described by a set of observables, like position and momentum, which have a continuous spectrum of eigenvalues. According to this novel trend, quantum information protocols like quantum teleportation have been suitably extended to the CV framework. Here, we briefly review some mathematical tools relative to CV systems, and we consequently develop the concepts of quantum entanglement and teleportation in the CV framework by analogy with the qubit-based approach. Some connections between teleportation fidelity and entanglement properties of the underlying quantum channel are inspected. Next, we address the study of CV quantum teleportation networks where more users share a multipartite state and an arbitrary pair of them performs quantum teleportation. In this context, we show alternative protocols, and we investigate the optimal strategy that maximizes the performance of the network.
