Approximate and Conditional Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic State with Dissipative Jaynes–Cummings Model

Abstract

A scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic state in dissipative cavity QED is proposed. It is the extension of the scheme of [Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302], where the cavity mode decay has not been considered and only a time point of system evolution and the corresponding fidelity implementing the teleportation are given. In fact, the cavity mode decay exists really and must be delt with. In this paper, we investigate the influence from the cavity mode decay on the implementation of the approximate and conditional teleportation by means of the dissipative Jaynes–Cummings model and then show the analytical expression of the fidelity of realization of the teleportation. Alternatively, our scheme does not involve an additional atom, only requiring two atoms and one single-mode cavity.

Approximate and Conditional Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic State Without Bell-State Measurement with Two-Photon Interaction

Changyong Chen

A scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic state via two-photon interaction in cavity QED is proposed. It is the extension of the scheme of Ref. [11] [Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302], which is based on Jaynes–Cummings model in QED and where only a time point of system evolution and the corresponding fidelity implementing the teleportation are given. In our scheme, the two-photon interaction Jaynes–Cummings model is used to realize the approximate and conditional teleportation. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and an additional atom, only requiring two atoms and one single-mode cavity. The fidelity of the scheme is higher than that of Ref. [11]. The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the state of a cavity mode to another mode by means of a single atom but also the teleportation of the state of a trapped ion.

Approximate Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic-Entangled State with Dissipative Atom-Cavity Resonant Jaynes–Cummings Model

Liu Zong-Liang, Shaohua Li, Changyong Chen

We propose a scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic-entangled state in dissipative cavity QED. It is the further development of the scheme of [Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302], where the cavity mode decay has not been considered and the state teleportated is an unknown atomic state. In this paper, we investigate the influence of the decay on the approximate and conditional teleportation of the unknown atomic-entangled state, which is different from that teleportated in [Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302] and then give the fidelity of the teleportation, which depends on the cavity mode decay. The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the cavity-mode-entangled-state by means of a single atom but also the teleportation of the unknown trapped-ion-entangled-state in a linear ion trap.

Approximate and Conditional Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic-Entangled State Without Bell-State Measurement

Changyong Chen, Shaohua Li

A scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic-entangled state in cavity QED is proposed. It is the novel extension of the scheme of [ Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302], where the state to be teleported is an unknown atomic state and where only a time point of system evolution and the corresponding fidelity implementing the teleportation are given. In fact, there exists multi-time points and the corresponding fidelities, which are shown in this paper and then are used to realize the approximate and conditional teleportation of the unknown atomic-entangled state. Naturally, our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement or an additional atom, which is required in the Bell-state measurement, only requiring one single-mode cavity. The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the cavity-mode-entangled-state by means of a single atom but also the teleportation of the unknown trapped-ion-entangled-state in a linear ion trap and the teleportation of the multi-atomic entangled states included in generalized GHZ states.

Comment on ‘Approximate and Conditional Teleportation of an Unknown Atomic State Without Bell-State Measurement with Two-Photon Interaction’

In a previous work [Commun. Theor. Phys. 45 (2006) 79] a scheme was presented for approximate and conditional teleportation of an unknown atomic state in a QED-cavity without Bell-state measurement via two-photon Jaynes–Cummings model in the effective Hamiltonian approach. This comment presents an alternative method, based on the so called 'full two-photon Jaynes–Cummings Hamiltonian approach'. Accordingly, it describes the evolution of the two-photon degenerate process for arbitrary average photon number inside the cavity, as the correct way to implement teleportation in this scenario.

Scheme for approximate conditional teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement

Shi-Biao Zheng

We propose a scheme for approximately and conditionally teleporting an unknown atomic state in cavity $\mathrm{QED}$. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and thus an additional atom is unnecessary. Only two atoms and one single-mode cavity are required. The scheme may be used to teleport the state of a cavity mode to another mode using a single atom. The idea may also be used to teleport the state of a trapped ion.

Teleportation of unknown states of a qubit and a single-mode field in strong coupling regime without Bell-state measurement

Farshid Jahanbakhsh, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

Abstract In this paper, we develop the teleportation scheme in [Zheng in Phys Rev A 69, 064302, 2004], in the sense that, we work in the strong atom-field coupling regime wherein the rotating wave approximation (RWA) is no longer valid. To achieve the purpose, a scheme consisting of a qubit interacting with a single-mode quantized field is described via the Rabi model (counter rotation terms are taken into account). Our first aim is to teleport an unknown atomic state of a qubit (which interacts with the quantized field in a cavity) to a second qubit (exists in another distant cavity field), beyond the RWA and without the Bell-state measurement method. In the continuation, in a similar way, we teleport an unknown state of a single-mode field too. In fact, it is shown that, in this regime, after applying some particular conditions, containing the interaction time of atom-field in the cavities, adjusting the involved frequencies, as well as the atom-field coupling in the model, if a proper measurement is performed on the state of the first qubit (the related field in the cavity), the unknown states of the qubit (field) can be teleported from the first qubit (cavity field) to the second qubit (cavity field), appropriately. We show that in both considered cases, the teleportation protocol is successfully performed with the maximum possible fidelity, 1, and the acceptable success probability, 0.25.
