Position-Verification in Multi-Channel Models.

Huajun Zhang, Zongyang Zhang, Zhenfu Cao

We propose an efficient collusion-attack-resistant position-verification protocol in a new model named multi-channel model. In the multi-channel model, there are lots of communication channels. When a player picks a random channel and sends a short message over it, the message might slip by an adversary with high probability if the adversary does not know the channel beforehand. This idea is motivated by the multiple-access methods. We adopt it to solve the position-verification task. Adding different constraints into the multi-channel model, we make three sub-models: receivingconstrained multi-channel model, sending-constrained multi-channel model and both-constrained multichannel model. Our position-verification protocol is secure under all of these sub-models with appropriate parameters.

The Time Division Multi-Channel Communication Model and the Correlative Protocol Based on Quantum Time Division Multi-Channel Communication

Xiaohui Liu, Changxing Pei, Min Nie

Based on the classical time division multi-channel communication theory, we present a scheme of quantum time-division multi-channel communication (QTDMC). Moreover, the model of quantum time division switch (QTDS) and correlative protocol of QTDMC are proposed. The quantum bit error rate (QBER) is analyzed and the QBER simulation test is performed. The scheme shows that the QTDS can carry out multi-user communication through quantum channel, the QBER can also reach the reliability requirement of communication, and the protocol of QTDMC has high practicability and transplantable. The scheme of QTDS may play an important role in the establishment of quantum communication in a large scale in the future.

Applying Multi-Parity Code To The Quantum Security Protocol BB84 Under Different Types Of Attacks-ENG

A. I. A. Jabbar, Ahmed I. A

Quantum Key Distribution QKD mechanism is based on the principles of quantum mechanics to guarantee the secure exchange of secret keys between users. In this paper, the BB84 protocol is simulated, and the enhancement of the protocol using multi-parity instead of single parity is introduced with the error correction unit. The sub-blocklength is changed dynamically in an adaptive way and according to the QBER values, also this study takes into account the channel effect on the protocol by applying four types of channels (perfect channel, low noise channel, medium noise channel and high noise channel) and all channels are assumed to be lossless. The study includes also the effect of three types of attacks (PNS, IR, PNS & IR attacks) onto the protocol performance. The simulation results show that (IR) attack have the strongest effect on the BB84 performance. Keywords : BB84, QKD, Multi-Parity, Quantum Cryptography, Security, PNS, IR, PNS & IR, attack.
