A Mixed Verifiably Encrypted Signature Scheme and It's Applications

Yuefei Zhu

ID-based public key cryptography can be a good alternative for certificate-based public key setting, especially when efficient key management and moderate security are required. This paper proposes a primitive called mixed verifiably encrypted signature scheme(MVESS) and presents an efficient MVESS based on the ID-based signature scheme due to Cheon,et.al.Then,we provide some theoretical discussions for the security model for MVESSs,and show that our new scheme can be proven to secure with the hardness assumption of the computational Diffie-Hellman problem of pairings in the random oracle model. Our new scheme can be used as blocks to build efficient ID-based optimistic fair signature exchange protocols, which can be widely used in signing digital contracts,e-payment and other electronic commerce.

ID-based Strong Designated Verifier Signature Scheme

Shao Jian, Zhenfu Cao, Lifei Wei

An ID-based designated verifier signature is analyzed, which shows that anyone who intercepts one signature can verify subsequence signatures without need of receiver's private key.Another ID-based designated verifier signature based on one-pass Authenticated Key Exchange(AKE) is presented. This scheme has strong security properties such as the known key security and the forward security that are derived from the one-pass AKE.Compared with the existing schemes, the scheme is much more efficient in sign and verify algorithms.

An Efficient Identity-Based Certified E-mail Protocol

Caifen Wang, Xiaodong Yang, Caihui Lan +1 more

Signcryption is to perform encryption and signature in a single logical step, and is more efficient than the sign-then-encryption scheme. However, most of the proposed signcryption approaches cannot be used directly by certified e-mail protocol. In this paper, we first develop an id-based signcryption method, which allows a trusted third party to compute a cipher text of a message together with other parties. Then based on the signcryption scheme we propose a new id-based certified e-mail protocol. The fairness, efficiency, and effectiveness of our protocol have been proved.
