Abstract

We study the 1→N faithful telecloning of two linear-independent states of a one-qubit system.Based on the analysis of the probabilistic cloning machine,we construct a multiparticle entangled state, and present a telecloning scheme under local operations and classical communication (LOCC).The success probability is greater than half of the optimal probability of the probabilistic cloning machine.Specifically,we show how to prepare the three-particle entangled state meeded by 1→2 telecloning under LOCC using the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state as a resource. All the operations in 1→2 telecloning are within the reach of current technology.

Probabilistic quantum cloning via Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states

Chuanwei Zhang, Chuan-Feng Li, Zi-Yang Wang +1 more

We propose a probabilistic quantum cloning scheme using Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states, Bell-basis measurements, single-qubit unitary operations, and generalized measurements, all of which are within the reach of current technology. Compared to another possible scheme via Tele-controlled-NOT gate [D. Gottesman and I. L. Chuang, Nature (London) 402, 390 (1999)], the present scheme may be used in experiment to clone the states of one particle to those of two different particles with higher probability and less GHZ resources.

Local cloning of genuinely entangled states of three qubits

Sujit K. Choudhary, Guruprasad Kar, Samir Kunkri +2 more

We discuss the (im)possibility of the exact cloning of orthogonal but genuinely entangled three qubit states aided with entangled ancilla under local operation and classical communication. Whereas any two orthogonal Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states taken from the canonical GHZ basis can be cloned with the help of a known GHZ state, surprisingly we find that no two $W$ states can be cloned by using any known three qubit (possibly entangled) state as a blank copy.

Universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning of qubit

Yan‐Ling Li, Jian Feng, Meng Xiang-Guo +2 more

A scheme combining three processes of quantum teleportation, optimal universal quantum flipping and optimal universal quantum cloning for universal teleflipping and telecloning of arbitrary qubit is proposed. When a particular four-particle entangled state shared by the sender and three spatially separated receivers is used as quantum information channel, after the sender's Bell measurement, class ical communication and each receiver's local unitary operation, one receiver can get one orthogonal complementing state of the original unknown state with the o ptimal fidelity of 2/3, the other two receivers can respectively get one copy of the original unknown state with the optimal fidelity of 5/6. This scheme implem ents the universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning simultaneously with corr esponding optimal fidelity by using the reduced entanglement. The key to realizi ng this scheme is the construction of the particular four-particle entangled sta te shared by the sender and three receivers used as quantum information channel. The entanglement structure of the special four-particle entangled state is anal yzed.

Remote state preparation of an entangled state

Bao‐Sen Shi, Akihisa Tomita

In this paper, we give a scheme for the remote state preparation of a chosen two-particle entangled state by a three-particle Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger state, and propose a generalization to a chosen multiparticle entangled state. By this scheme, only one classical bit and one single-particle projective measurement are enough for the remote state preparation of some special chosen multiparticle entangled states.

Manipulation of Entangled States for Quantum Information Processing

Sougato Bose, Susana F. Huelga, Daniel Jonathan +4 more

Entanglement manipulation, and especially Entanglement Swapping is at the heart of current work on quantum information processing, purification and quantum teleportation. We will discuss how it may be generalized to multiparticle systems and how this enables multi-user quantum cryptographic protocols to be developed. Our scheme allows us to establish multiparticle entanglement between particles which belong to distant users in a communication network through a prior distribution of Bell state singlets followed by local measurements. We compare our method for generating entanglement with existing schemes using simple quantum networks, and highlight the advantages and applications in cryptographic conferencing and in reading messages from more than one source through a single quantum measurement. We also discuss how entanglement leads to the idea of ‘telecloning’, in which a teleportation-like protocol can be found which reproduces the output of an optimal quantum cloning machine. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
