Abstract

From the viewpoint of quantum information, this paper studies preparation and control of atomic optimal entropy squeezing states (AOESS) for a moving two-level atom under control of the two-mode squeezing vacuum fields. Necessary conditions of preparation of the AOESS are analysed, and numerical verification of the AOESS is finished. It shows that the AOESS can be prepared by controlling the time of the atom interaction with the field, cutting the entanglement between the atom and field, and adjusting squeezing factor of the field. An atomic optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation in different components can alternately be realized by controlling the field-mode structure parameter.

Optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation and its control for an effective two-level moving atom entanglement with the two-mode coherent fields

Xiaojuan Liu, Zhou Yuan-Jun, Mao-Fa Fang

From the viewpoint of quantum information, this paper proposes a concept and a definition of the atomic optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation (AOESSG) for the system of an effective two-level moving atom which entangles with the two-mode coherent fields. It also researches the relationship between the AOESSG and entanglement sudden death of the atom-fields, and discusses the influences of atomic initial state on the AOESSG and obtains the system parameter which controls the AOESSG.

Entropy squeezing of the moving atom interacting with the two-mode squeezing vacuum field

Yang Rui-fang

The information entropy squeezing properties of the atom in motion interacting with the two-mode squeezing vacuum field via two-photon transition are studied by means of quantum theory. The influences of the velocity of atomic motion, the field structure and the parameter of squeezing field on the information entropy squeezing properties of the atom are investigated as the initial atom is in any state. The results indicate that the value of squeezed component of the atomic dipole, squeezed frequency, amplitude and squeezed direction of the atomic information entropy can be controlled by choosing the atomic initial state, the velocity of atomic motion, the field structure and the squeezing factor of field and the squeezing phase angle of the field, respectively. In the longer time, squeezing effects of the atom in motion can be obtained by choosing the system parameters. The mixing degree of atomic initial state has no influence on the entropy squeezing of the atom in motion.

Entropy squeezing of a moving atom and control of noise of the quantum mechanical channel via the two-photon process

Bingju Zhou, Xiaojuan Liu, Qingping Zhou +1 more

Based on the quantum information theory, we have investigated the entropy squeezing of a moving two-level atom interacting with the coherent field via the quantum mechanical channel of the two-photon process. The results are compared with those of atomic squeezing based on the Heisenberg uncertainty relation. The influences of the atomic motion and field-mode structure parameter on the atomic entropy squeezing and on the control of noise of the quantum mechanical channel via the two-photon process are examined. Our results show that the squeezed period, duration of optimal entropy squeezing of a two-level atom and the noise of the quantum mechanical channel can be controlled by appropriately choosing the atomic motion and the field-mode structure parameter, respectively. The quantum mechanical channel of two-photon process is an ideal channel for quantum information (atomic quantum state) transmission. Quantum information entropy is a remarkably accurate measure of the atomic squeezing.

Quantum entanglement between the two-mode fields and atomic entropy squeezing in the system of a moving atom interacting with two-mode entangled coherent field

Zou Yan, Li Yong-Ping

This paper investigates the entropy squeezing of a moving two-level atom interacting with the two-mode entangled coherent field via two-photon transition by using an entropic uncertainty relation and the degree of entanglement between the two-mode fields by using quantum relative entropy. The results obtained from numerical calculation indicate that the squeezed period, the duration of entropy squeezing and the maximal squeezing can be controlled by appropriately choosing the intensity of the light field, the atomic motion and the field-mode structure. The atomic motion leads to the periodic recovery of the initial maximal degree of entanglement between the two-mode fields. Moreover, there exists a corresponding relation between the time evolution properties of the atomic entropy squeezing and those of the entanglement between the two-mode fields.

Preparation and control of entangled states in the two-mode coherent fields interacting with a moving atom via two-photon process

Xiaojuan Liu, Bingju Zhou, Liu Ming-Wei +1 more

We investigate the preparation and the control of entangled states in a system with the two-mode coherent fields interacting with a moving two-level atom via the two-photon transition. We discuss entanglement properties between the two-mode coherent fields and a moving two-level atom by using the quantum reduced entropy, and those between the two-mode coherent fields by using the quantum relative entropy. In addition, we examine the influences of the atomic motion and field-mode structure parameter p on the quantum entanglement of the system. Our results show that the period and the duration of the prepared maximal atom-field entangled states and the frequency of maximal two-mode field entangled states can be controlled, and that a sustained entangled state of the two-mode field, which is independent of atomic motion and the evolution time, can be obtained, by choosing appropriately the parameters of atomic motion, field-mode structure, initial state and interaction time of the system.

Quantum entanglement in the interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and moving two-level atom

Zeng Ming-sheng, Xie Fang-sen, Huiming Jiang

The properties of the entanglement between squeezing vacuum state field and moving two-level atom are investigated by using the von Neumann entropy. The influences of field-mode structure of moving two-level atom and the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field on the entanglement of the quantum system are discussed. The results show that atomic movement can result in evolution periodically of the degree of entanglement. The quantum state will be maximally entangled state for a long time when the squeezing degree are high, the increase of field-mode structure result in more disentangled states.
