Abstract

Using the algebraic Bethe Ansatz and Euler-Maclaurin formulae, we calculate the finite-size corrections to the energy and momentum of ground and excited states for the sine-Gordon model. The conformal anomaly, operator dimension and critical coupling parameter are given in the ultraviolet limit.

Operator dimensions and surface exponents for the non-linear Schrodinger model at T=0

Alexander Bérkovich, Ganpathy N. Murthy

Using the Euler-Maclaurin formula, the authors compute finite-size corrections to the ground- and excited-state energies and momenta. This enables them to obtain all possible operator scaling dimensions at the critical point (T=0) and surface exponents for a variety of boundary conditions. They extend the predictions of conformal invariance to include Green functions with oscillating terms.

Applied Euler-Maclaurin formula, we compute the finite size correction to the energy of the ground state for the Spin-½ Nonlinear Schrödinger model. We get conformal anomaly for this model at the critical point (T=0).

Quantum field ground state of the sine-Gordon model with finite soliton density: exact results

F. D. M. Haldane

The Bethe ansatz solutions of the massive Thirring model are renormalised and used to obtain exactly the ground-state properties of the sine-Gordon model with a finite density of topological solitons. Using a theory of 1D quantum fluids, the correlation function exponents and low-energy excitation spectrum are obtained. Expansions in various limits are given, and various crossovers described.

Finite Size Corrections for One Dimensional Interacting Fermions

Liu Yimin, Pu Fuque, Su Hang

Using the method based on the Euler-Maclaurin formula, we calculate the finite size correction to the energy of the ground state and the excited state for the delta interacting fermion gas in the periodic boundary condition with N - 1 of the N fermions having the same spin and one having the opposite spin. In the thermodynamic limit, we obtain the conformal anomaly, operator dimension and the correlation functions.

Finite-size corrections in the nonlinear Schrodinger model

Alexander Bérkovich, Ganpathy N. Murthy

A method based on the Euler-Maclaurin formula is proposed to obtain all finite-size corrections to the energies of the ground and excited states for the one-dimensional Bose gas with delta function interactions. Scaling dimensions for all gapless states and some states having a macroscopic momentum are obtained.
