Abstract

This paper analyzes two existing protocols, points out that they cannot resist off-line dictionary attack. And considering most of protocols cannot meet the personalized requirements, this paper presents a personalized key exchange protocol, users can choose the number of generated session keys according to their own requirements. And through safety analysis, the protocol can resist various common attacks.

Improvement of a Three-party Key Exchange Protocol

Sida Lin, Qi Xie

Recently, Lu and Cao proposed a novel three-party key exchange protocol. Guo et al pointed out that their protocol cannot resist man-in-the-middle attack and undetectable on-line dictionary attack, and then an improved protocol was proposed in 2008.However, we show that Guo et alpsilas protocol is still vulnerable to undetectable on-line dictionary attack. To overcome the security flaw, an improved scheme is proposed.

Multiple Key Exchange Protocol with Strong Security

Zhang Shi-wu

All existing two party multiple key exchange protocols cannot resist ephemeral key compromise attack. To solve this problem,a new two party authenticated key exchange protocol based bilinear map is proposed for enhancing the security and efficiency of two party key exchange protocols.Four different session keys can be computed through one session of the proposed protocol.Compared with existing protocols, the new protocol with stronger security can resist ephemeral key compromise attack and provide mutual authentication.

An Efficient ID-based Two-party Key Exchange Protocol

Xiang Shun-bo

ID-based protocols are used to establish session keys with identity information of principals. An ID-based key exchange protocol was proposed based on the difficulty of computing a discrete logarithm problem, and the performance and security of the proposed protocol were analyzed. The analysis shows that the proposed protocol has better performance and it can satisfy the security requirements of the two-party key exchange protocol.

A New Three-party Key Exchange Protocol Based on Diffie-Hellman

Chunling Liu, Yufeng Wang, Qinxi Bai

The goal of key exchange protocol is to establish a common and secure session key using the interactive communications. The existing schemes are usually in the pattern of 'user-server-user', so are weak in reality. In this paper, a new three-party key exchange protocol based on Diffie-Hellman was proposed which contains the following characteristics: without server; providing key secrecy and forward secrecy; ensuring no key control; ensuring known-key secrecy.

New Secret Key Exchange Based On Recent Cryptographic Schemes (Dept.E)

Amina Rashad, Magcd Ibrahim, Zaki Nossair

Authenticated key exchange protocols have an important role for building secure communications amongst two or more entities over the networks. Two party authenticated key exchange protocols where each pair of parties must share a secret with each other; a three-party protocol does not cause any key management problem for the parties. In this paper, an extension of two-party key exchange protocol, which is based on Diffie-Hellman key exchange. is proposed. In this protocol each user exchanges secret key with server then each user uses this secret key to exchange session key with each other. The efficiency and the security analysis of this new key exchange protocol are proven in this paper.

An Efficient Three-Party Authenticated Key Exchange Protocol with One-Time Key

Chao Lv, Maode Ma, Hui Li +1 more

Three-party authenticated key exchange protocol (3PAKE) is an important cryptographic technique for secure communication which allows two parties to agree a new secure session key with the help of a trusted server. In this paper, we proposed a new three-party authenticated key exchange protocol which aims to achieve more efficiency with the same security level of other existing 3PAKE protocols. Security analysis and formal verification using AVISPA tools show that the proposed protocol is secure against various known attacks. Comparing with other typical 3PAKE protocols, the proposed protocol is more efficient with less computation complexity.
