Abstract

We investigate theoretically the improvement of the entanglement between the indirectly coupled two magnon modes in a magnomechanical system with magnon squeezing. We quantify the degree of entanglement via logarithmic negativity between two magnon modes. We show a significant enhancement of entanglement via magnon squeezing. Additionally, the entanglement of two magnons decreases monotonically under thermal effects. We demonstrate that with an increasing photon tunneling rate, entanglement is robust and resistant to thermal effects. We use purity as a witness to the mixing between the two magnon modes. We show that synchronization and purity are very robust against thermal effects rather than entanglement. We examine the relationship between quantum entanglement, purity, and quantum synchronization in both steady and dynamic states. According to our results, this scheme could be a promising platform for studying macroscopic quantum phenomena.

Enhanced entanglement via magnon squeezing in a two-cavity magnomechanical system

Amjad Sohail, Rizwan Ahmed, Jia‐Xin Peng +2 more

The present study is based on a theoretically feasible scheme for the enhancement of entanglement between different bipartitions due to magnon squeezing in a two-cavity magnomechanical system, having two microwave cavity mode photons, a magnon mode, and phonon mode. The nonlinearity in the system is well enhanced owing to magnon squeezing, which is responsible for the enhancement of different bipartitions’ entanglement. By employing the standard Langevin approach, we found that the magnon squeezing parameter not only enhances the entanglement between directly coupled modes, but also has a considerable impact on indirectly coupled modes’ entanglement. In addition, we find the negative impact of the thermal bath for the mechanical mode on the generation of photon–phonon and magnon–phonon entanglements. Furthermore, magnon squeezing has shown a significant role in the entanglement robustness against thermal effects. Moreover, the tripartite entanglement among photon, magnon, and phonon is also considerably enhanced in the presence of magnon squeezing. This two-cavity magnomechanical system might be used in quantum tasks that require the enhancement of entanglement of indirectly coupled modes.

Enhanced entanglement and quantum steering of directly and indirectly coupled modes in a magnomechanical system

Amjad Sohail, Rizwan Ahmed, Rida Zainab +1 more

Abstract This study is based on a theoretical proposal for quantum steering, non-locality, and entanglement in a two microwave cavities based magnomechanical system. The system is composed of two microwave (MW) cavity mode photons, phonons associated with mechanical mode and a magnon mode. We have employed a standard damping approach and found that steerability and entanglements among different bipartite subsystems strongly depend upon the detuning of indirectly coupled cavity mode and effective magnon detuning. One/two-way quantum Steering and non-local correlation have been found in the system for different choices of bipartitions. In addition, entanglement generated in the system enhances and has shown to be more robust against the thermal effects, as compared with the earlier studies. Interestingly, we have shown that the magnomechanical entanglements among different bipartitions have a complementary relation due to the transfer entanglement. This shows an additional insight into the system dynamics which shows that there exists a ‘tie-up’ relationship among these bipartitions. The present magnomechanical system will open new perspectives in quantum tasks that demand the entanglement of microwave cavity fields.

Enhancement of magnon–photon–phonon entanglement in a cavity magnomechanics with coherent feedback loop

Mohamed Amazioug, Berihu Teklu, Muhammad Asjad

In this paper, we present a coherent feedback loop scheme to enhance the magnon-photon-phonon entanglement in cavity magnomechanics. We provide a proof that the steady state and dynamical state of the system form a genuine tripartite entanglement state. To quantify the entanglement in the bipartite subsystem and the genuine tripartite entanglement, we use the logarithmic negativity and the minimum residual contangle, respectively, in both the steady and dynamical regimes. We demonstrate the feasibility of our proposal by implementing it with experimentally realizable parameters to achieve the tripartite entanglement. We also show that the entanglement can be significantly improved with coherent feedback by appropriately tuning the reflective parameter of the beam splitter and that it is resistant to environmental thermalization. Our findings pave the way for enhancing entanglement in magnon-photon-phonon systems and may have potential applications in quantum information.

Enhancing One-Way Steering and Non-Classical Correlations in Magnomechanics via Coherent Feedback

Hamza Harraf, Noura Chabar, Mohamed Amazioug +1 more

In this work, we propose a theoretical scheme to explore the enhancement of quantum correlation hierarchies in a cavity magnonmechanical system via the coherent feedback tool. We use Gaussian geometric discord to quantify quantum correlations between the two magnon modes, including those beyond entanglement, in the steady state. Logarithmic negativity and Gaussian quantum steering are employed to characterize entanglement and steerability, respectively. Our results show that adjusting the beam splitter's reflective parameter can significantly enhance quantum correlations and increase their resilience to thermal noise. Moreover, we demonstrate that coherent feedback can achieve enhanced genuine tripartite entanglement among the photon, magnon \(M_1\), and phonon. These findings present promising strategies for enhancing entanglement in magnon-based systems and advancing quantum information technologies. We conclude by validating the system and demonstrating its ability to detect entanglement.

Feedback Control of Quantum Correlations in a Cavity Magnomechanical System with Magnon Squeezing

Mohamed Amazioug, S. K. Singh, Berihu Teklu +1 more

We suggest a method to improve quantum correlations in cavity magnomechanics, through the use of a coherent feedback loop and magnon squeezing. The entanglement of three bipartition subsystems: photon-phonon, photon-magnon, and phonon-magnon, is significantly improved by the coherent feedback-control method that has been proposed. In addition, we investigate Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering under thermal effects in each of the subsystems. We also evaluate the scheme's performance and sensitivity to magnon squeezing. Furthermore, we study the comparison between entanglement and Gaussian quantum discord in both steady and dynamical states.

Nonreciprocal macroscopic entanglement through magnon squeezing in cavity magnomechanics

Ziyad Imara, K. El Anouz, İlkay Demir +1 more

Cavity magnomechanics has opened a new frontier in quantum electrodynamics, yielding several significant theoretical and experimental results. In this paper, we propose a different theoretical mechanism to achieve nonreciprocal macroscopic entanglement among magnons, photons, and phonons based on magnon squeezing. Specifically, reversing the squeezing phase, namely, θ → θ + π , reverses the frequency shift and the effective dissipation rate simultaneously, producing two experimentally distinct configurations that enable nonreciprocal entanglement. Indeed, in contrast to conventional approaches that control only frequency shifts, we show how precise control of the amplitude and phase of the squeezed mode allows us to obtain a tunable nonreciprocity of entanglement. The magnons resulting from the collective motion of the spin in a macroscopic ferrimagnet become coupled to the microwave photons via magnetic dipole interaction and to the phonons via magnetostrictive interaction. Moreover, we show that the proposed scheme achieves ideal nonreciprocity, which can be optimized by cavity-magnon coupling and bath temperature control. Finally, by using the parameters that are experimentally feasible with current technologies, this work provides promising perspectives for hybrid magnon-based quantum technologies.
