Abstract

Abstract We propose a novel scheme to engineer the atomic hyperentangled cluster and ring graph states invoking cavity-QED technique for applicative relevance to quantum biology and quantum communications utilizing the complex quantum networks. These states are engineered using both external quantized momenta states and energy levels of neutral atoms under off-resonant and resonant Atomic Bragg Diffraction (ABD) technique. The study of dynamical capacity and potential efficiency have certainly enhanced the range of usefulness of these states. In order to assess the operational behavior of such states when subjected to a realistic noise environment has also been simulated, demonstrating long enough sustainability of the proposed states. Moreover, experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme has also been elucidated under the prevailing cavity-QED research scenario.

Engineering quantum networks through Bragg diffracted hyperentangled atoms

Saad Mohammed Anis, Tasawar Abbas, Muhammad Imran +1 more

Hyperentangled states are vitally important for resource economy as they have exponential encoding capabilities per quantum entity. Apart from photonic hyperentanglements, only few proposals exist based on atomic systems. The present article discusses the schematics to generate hyperentangled atomic quantum networks in both internal states and external atomic momenta via cavity QED setup using the Atomic Bragg Diffraction technique. Various graph states forming quantum networks are engineered through hyperentangled correlations encompassing quantized external momenta and internal states of the two-level atoms. First one is a star shaped graph state which is attached to n receivers. The second one is a hybrid of the star and ring graph states, taking three star networks and joining them using dispersive atom-field interactions. Experimental feasibility has also been briefly elaborated under contemporary cavity QED research scenario.

Hyperentanglement teleportation through external momenta states

Liaqat Ali, Rameez‐ul‐Islam, Manzoor Ikram +2 more

Abstract The conventional teleportation protocol requires a state entangled in only one degree of freedom (DOF), while hyperteleportation requires more than single DOF to complete the task. The hyperteleportation schematics are demonstrated only for the photonic systems, where in the present paper we extend the idea to a hyperteleportation protocol involving the atomic internal and external states. The protocol is deterministically engineered through resonant and off-resonant atomic Bragg diffraction involving two-level neutral atoms under standard cavity-QED working environment. Moreover, the longer interaction time Bragg’s regime with well separated transverse momenta states as an output of the neutral atoms guarantees the high enough engineering fidelities with reduced decoherence rates. The experimental parameters for the demonstration of the proposed scheme are also elucidated briefly describing the optimistic feasibility for the experimental execution of the proposed schematics.

State engineering and information distribution over quantum networks via distant manipulations based on quantized momenta of neutral atoms

Tasawar Abbas, Rameez‐ul Islam, Manzoor Ikram

We propose experimentally feasible schemes for deterministic state engineering of a superposition as well as a variety of entangled states e.g., Bell, GHZ, Cluster and graph states through exploration of the quantized momenta states of the neutral atoms via distant manipulations. Such decoherence-resistant, distantly contrived momenta states are realized using first order, off-resonant Bragg diffraction of the two-level atoms from quantized cavity fields. The state preparation procedure, along with quantized momenta Bragg interactions, also invokes usual resonant and dispersive atom-field interactions and culminates deterministically into the states having overall good fidelities.

Engineering quantum hyperentangled states in atomic systems

Mehwish Nawaz, Rameez‐ul Islam, Tasawar Abbas +1 more

Abstract Hyperentangled states have boosted many quantum informatics tasks tremendously due to their high information content per quantum entity. Until now, however, the engineering and manipulation of such states were limited to photonic systems only. In present article, we propose generating atomic hyperentanglement involving atomic internal states as well as atomic external momenta states. Hypersuperposition, hyperentangled cluster, Bell and Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger states are engineered deterministically through resonant and off-resonant Bragg diffraction of neutral two-level atoms. Based on the characteristic parameters of the atomic Bragg diffraction, such as comparatively large interaction times and spatially well-separated outputs, such decoherence resistant states are expected to exhibit good overall fidelities and offer the evident benefits of full controllability, along with extremely high detection efficiency, over the counterpart photonic states comprised entirely of flying qubits.

Entanglement swapping using hyperentangled pairs of two‐level neutral atoms

Syed Sajal Hasan, Saad Mohammed Anis, Muhammad Imran +3 more

Abstract Hyperentangled swapping is a quantum communication technique that involves the exchange of hyperentangled states, which are quantum states entangled in multiple degrees of freedom, to enable secure and efficient quantum information transfer. In this paper, we demonstrate schematics for the hyperentanglement swapping between separate pairs of neutral atoms through the mathematical framework of atomic Bragg diffraction, which is efficient and resistant to decoherence, yielding deterministic results with superior overall fidelity. The utilised cavities are in a superposition state and interact with the incoming atoms off‐resonantly. Quantum information carried by the cavities is swapped through resonant interactions with two‐level auxiliary atoms. We also discuss entanglement swapping under a delayed‐choice scenario and provide a schematic generalisation covering multiple‐qubit scenarios. Finally, we introduce specific experimental parameters to demonstrate the experimental feasibility of the scheme.

Cavity‐Assisted Atomic External Momenta State Teleportation

Liaqat Ali, Murad Ahmad, Rameez‐ul‐Islam +3 more

Abstract The quantized momentum eigenstates of neutral atoms offer high resistance to decoherence and thus suggests a viable alternative for quantum informatics tasks including teleportation. In this work, a scheme is suggested to teleport an unknown superposition of two distinct external momentum states of a neutral atom onto the similar momentum states of a distant atom at the receiving end through the off‐resonant atomic Bragg diffraction (ABD). In order to teleport this unknown state from the sender, that is, Alice, to the receiver, that is, Bob, a pre‐existing entangled link formed through a high‐Q cavity at Alice's end and momentum states of a neutral atom at the Bob's end are utilized. Further, while citing the realistic experimental parameters, it is demonstrated that the proposal can easily be implemented experimentally under the prevailing cavity‐QED atom‐field research scenario. The proposal is also generalized to cover the teleportation of the multipartite entangled momenta states and the case of multipartite GHZ entangled states is elucidated in details. However, the procedure is generic and can be extended to cover the teleportation schematics for any arbitrary atomic momenta states.
