Abstract

We investigate the amplification of the genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) and the genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE) of Dirac particles in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole by a local filtering operation under decoherence. It is shown that the physically accessible GTN will be completely destroyed by decoherence, and the local filtering operation can cause the physically accessible GTN to be generated in the system coupled with the environment, which has not been discovered before and is beneficial for quantum information processing. Furthermore, we also find that the physically accessible GTE approaches a stable value in the limit of infinite Hawking temperature for most cases, and the nonzero stable value of GTE can be increased by performing the local filtering operation, even in the presence of decoherence. In particular, if the decoherence parameter p is less than 1, the “sudden death” of GTE will take place when the decoherence strength is large enough. Finally, we have shown that physically inaccessible GTE can be enhanced with the operation of the local filter, whereas inaccessible GTN are not allowed to occur in the presence of decoherence.

Genuine tripartite nonlocality and entanglement in curved spacetime

Shu-Min Wu, Hao‐Sheng Zeng

Abstract We study the genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) and the genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE) of Dirac fields in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole. We find that the Hawking radiation degrades both the physically accessible GTN and the physically accessible GTE. The former suffers from “sudden death” at some critical Hawking temperature, and the latter approaches to the nonzero asymptotic value in the limit of infinite Hawking temperature. We also find that the Hawking effect cannot generate the physically inaccessible GTN, but can generate the physically inaccessible GTE for fermion fields in curved spacetime. These results show that on the one hand the GTN cannot pass through the event horizon of black hole, but the GTE do can, and on the other hand the surviving physically accessible GTE and the generated physically inaccessible GTE for fermions in curved spacetime are all not nonlocal. Some monogamy relations between the physically accessible GTE and the physically inaccessible GTE are found.

Nonlocality and entanglement transfer of an open three-qubit W state in the background of a dilaton black hole

Chun-yao Liu, Zheng‐Wen Long, Qi-Liang He

Abstract Constrained by the complexity of theoretical calculations, current research on genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) within the relativistic framework concentrates mainly on Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger-like states, with few studies addressing W states or even general tripartite states. In this paper, we apply numerical methods to investigate how environmental decoherence and spacetime dilaton influence GTN and genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE) of W states. Our results show that GTN in the physically accessible region displays a “sudden death” phenomenon and that sufficiently strong decoherence completely destroys GTN. By contrast, GTE in the physically accessible region initially remains unchanged and then decays only when the dilaton parameter becomes large. Notably, the GTN and GTE in the physically accessible region can be enhanced by adjusting the decoherence parameter. Furthermore, we also find that the GTN in the physically inaccessible region cannot be generated, whereas the GTE will be produced there. This implies that GTE can cross the event horizon of a black hole and realize the redistribution of quantum entanglement. Finally, we further discuss whether the GTN can be transferred to the bipartite subsystem of the system.

Hawking effect can generate physically inaccessible genuine tripartite nonlocality

Tinggui Zhang, Xin Wang, Shao-Ming Fei

Abstract We explore the acceleration effect on the genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) for one or two accelerated detector(s) coupled to the vacuum field with initial mixed tripartite states. We show that the Hawking radiation degrades the physically accessible GTN, which suffers from “sudden death” at certain critical Hawking temperature. An novel phenomenon has been observed first time that the Hawking effect can generate the physically inaccessible GTN for fermion fields in curved spacetime, the “sudden birth” of the physically inaccessible GTN. This result shows that the GTN can pass through the event horizon of black hole for certain mixed initial states. We also derived analytically the tradeoff relations of genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE) and quantum coherence under the influence of Hawking effect.

Genuine tripartite entanglement of W state subject to Hawking effect of a Schwarzschild black hole

Shu-Min Wu, Xiaowei Fan, Xiao-Li Huang +1 more

Abstract We study the genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE), one-tangle and two-tangle of W state of fermionic fields in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole. We find that, with the increase of the Hawking temperature, the GTE of W state first decreases and then tends to zero, while the GTE of GHZ state first decreases and then freezes. We also find that the Hawking effect can completely destroy the two-tangle of W state, while one-tangle first decreases and then the freezing phenomenon appears with the growth of the Hawking temperature. These results are helpful to guide us to select appropriate quantum states and quantum resources to deal with relativistic quantum information tasks.

Quantumness of Entanglement in Schwarzschild de Sitter Spacetime

Sumeng Wang, Xiaofen Huang

We investigate genuine multipartite entanglement and genuine tripartite nonlocality of a noisy generalized GHZ state in Schwarzschild-de Sitter spacetime. The genuine multipartite concurrence and optimized Svetlichny parameter are employed to characterize these two quantum correlations. It is shown that the black hole and cosmological event horizons redistribute genuine multipartite entanglement differently among the physically accessible and inaccessible reduced states, while Svetlichny violation occurs only in the physically accessible state. We find that genuine multipartite entanglement can survive in the physically inaccessible states even when genuine tripartite nonlocality is absent. In addition, initial white noise suppresses both correlations, with Svetlichny nonlocality surviving over a narrower parameter region. Furthermore, in the Nariai limit, under the normalization adopted here, the correlations become concentrated in the physically accessible state. These results demonstrate the different robustness of genuine multipartite entanglement and genuine tripartite nonlocality under horizon effects and initial noise.
