With the drive to create a decentralized digital economy, Web 3.0 has become a cornerstone of digital transformation, developed on the basis of computing power networks, distributed data storage, and blockchain. With the rapid realization of quantum devices, Web 3.0 is being developed in parallel with the deployment of quantum cloud computing and quantum Internet. In this regard, quantum computing first disrupts the original cryptographic systems that protect data security while reshaping modern cryptography with the advantages of quantum computing and communication. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce a quantum blockchain-driven Web 3.0 framework that provides information-theoretic security for decentralized data transferring and payment transactions. First, we present the framework of quantum blockchain-driven Web 3.0 with futureproof security during the transmission of data and transaction information. Next, we discuss the potential applications and challenges of implementing quantum blockchain in Web 3.0. Finally, we describe a use case for quantum non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and propose a quantum deep learning-based optimal auction for NFT trading to maximize the achievable revenue for sufficient liquidity in Web 3.0. In this way, the proposed framework can achieve proven security and sustainability for the next-generation decentralized digital society.

Web 3.0 pursues the establishment of decentralized ecosystems through blockchain technologies, driving digital transformation in commerce and governance. With consensus algorithms and smart contracts grounded in cryptographic technologies, Web 3.0 enables secure and transparent digital services, such as digital identity, asset management, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and decentralized finance (DeFi), fostering integration between digital and physical economies. As quantum devices rapidly advance, Web 3.0 is being developed in parallel with the deployment of quantum cloud computing and quantum Internet. In this regard, quantum computing first disrupts the original cryptographic systems that protect data security while reshaping modern cryptography with enhanced quantum computing and communication capabilities. This article provides a comprehensive overview of blockchain-based Web 3.0, examining its quantum and postquantum advancements from two key perspectives. On the one hand, postquantum migration methods and quantum-resistant signatures offer robust solutions to safeguard blockchain against quantum threats. On the other hand, quantum and postquantum encryption and verification algorithms boost blockchain performance, creating a decentralized, secure, and value-driven system. Additionally, we outline potential applications of quantum blockchain and offer guidance for implementation within the Web 3.0 ecosystem. Finally, we discuss future directions for developing a provably secure and decentralized digital ecosystem.
Web 3.0 pursues the establishment of decentralized ecosystems based on blockchain technologies to drive the digital transformation of physical commerce and governance. Through consensus algorithms and smart contracts in blockchain, which are based on cryptography technologies, digital identity, digital asset management, decentralized autonomous organization, and decentralized finance are realized for secure and transparent digital economy services in Web 3.0 for promoting the integration of digital and physical economies. Therefore, this survey provides a comprehensive overview of blockchain-based Web 3.0 and its quantum and post-quantum enhancement from the ambilateral perspective. On the one hand, some post-quantum migration methods, and anti-quantum signatures offer potential ways to achieve unforgeable security under quantum attack for the internal technologies of blockchain. On the other hand, some quantum/post-quantum encryption and verification algorithms improve the external performance of the blockchain, enabling a decentralized, valuable, secure blockchain system. Finally, we discuss the future directions toward developing a provable secure decentralized digital ecosystem.
The rapid evolution of digital technologies has intensified the need for secure, transparent, and efficient digital ecosystems. Blockchain technology, known for its decentralized and tamper-resistant nature, has emerged as a promising solution for ensuring data integrity and trust. Simultaneously, Quantum Machine Learning (QML) is gaining attention for its potential to revolutionize computational capabilities by leveraging quantum computing principles. This paper explores the integration of blockchain and QML to design secure digital ecosystems capable of handling complex data processing and ensuring robust security. Blockchain provides a distributed ledger for secure data storage and transaction validation, while QML enhances analytical capabilities through advanced pattern recognition and optimization techniques. The proposed framework addresses key challenges such as data privacy, scalability, and computational efficiency. Additionally, the study examines the role of smart contracts in automating processes and ensuring compliance within decentralized environments. Security concerns, including quantum threats to classical cryptographic systems, are also discussed, along with potential solutions such as quantum-resistant cryptography. The findings indicate that the integration of blockchain and QML can significantly enhance the security, efficiency, and scalability of digital ecosystems, making them suitable for applications in finance, healthcare, and enterprise systems.
The internet is evolving—from sharing information (Web 1.0) to exchanging value (Web 2.0). Blockchain technology, also known as distributed ledger technology, is powering this transformation. By using a network of computers, cryptography and irreversible records, blockchain enables secure and transparent transactions without intermediaries. This unlocks the potential to streamline the transfer of digital assets like money, intellectual property, and more, revolutionising industries. Blockchain's rapid rise is fuelled by global investments and a surge in government and corporate innovation. It offers the promise of digitised records, reduced costs, real-time solutions and even greater efficiency and transparency in governance. However, challenges exist alongside these benefits, including the need for regulatory frameworks and adaptation to the potential threats posed by quantum computing. The development of quantum-resistant blockchain solutions will be crucial to ensure security as this technology matures. Like all powerful technologies, blockchain's impact depends on how it's implemented—offering both transformation and potential for disruption.
Combining quantum computing with digital interaction platforms creates the potential to secure public engagement, enable decentralized data exchange, and to optimize policy across various sectors. Most of them mainly concentrate on the theoretical optical/quantum cryptography and network security, but they lack practical realizing the user-centric digital platform. This paper fills this gap by presenting a well-defined framework that harmonizes quantumsecured decentralized architectures with blockchain and Web 3.0 technologies toward transparency, security, and policy-governed governance. We advance beyond the modeling for traditional cryptographic models to build practical applications for the real world where users can confidently interact with their market and governments in a secure, efficient, and trustless manner. We also present guidelines for standardization and empirical validation strategies to reconcile the gap between theory and practical usability.Through the exploration of quantum-resistant cryptographic mechanisms and decentralized governance models, this study offers innovative solutions that adapt to the challenges posed by quantum computing for secure digital interaction in the quantum era, thereby optimizing policy-making and empowering secure citizen engagement within a decentralized landscape.
Blockchain is a decentralized system that allows transaction transmission and storage according to the roles of the Consensus algorithm and Smart contracts. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) consolidate the best characteristics of blockchain technology to deliver unique and bona fide tokens, each with distinctive attributes with non-fungible resources. Unfortunately, current classical NFTs are suffering from high costs regarding the consumed power of mining and lack of security. Therefore, this paper presents a new protocol for preparing quantum non-fungible tokens where a quantum state representing NFT is mounted on a blockchain instead of physically giving it to the owner. The proposed scheme is simulated and analyzed against various attacks and proves its ability to secure against them. Furthermore, the presented protocol provides reliable and cheaper NFTs than the classical one.
