Abstract

Abstract With the complexity of information tasks, the bipartite and tripartite entanglement can no longer meet our needs, and we need more entangled particles to process relativistic quantum information. In this paper, we study the genuine N-partite entanglement and distributed relationships for Dirac fields in the background of dilaton black holes. We present the general analytical expression including all physically accessible and inaccessible entanglement in curved spacetime. We find that the accessible N-partite entanglement exhibits irreversible decoherence as the increase of black hole’s dilaton, and on the other hand the inaccessible N-partite entanglement increases from zero monotonically or non-monotonically, depending on the relative numbers of the accessible to the inaccessible modes, which forms a sharp contrast with the cases of bipartite and tripartite entanglement where the inaccessible entanglement increase only monotonically. We also find two distributed relationships between accessible and inaccessible N-partite entanglement in curved spacetime. The results give us a new understanding of the Hawking radiation.

Genuinely accessible and inaccessible entanglement in Schwarzschild black hole

Shu-Min Wu, Xiao-Wei Teng, Jinxuan Li +3 more

The genuine entanglement of Dirac fields for an N-partite system is investigated in Schwarzschild spacetime and the analysis is carried out using the single-mode approximation. Due to the Hawking effect, quantum entanglement is divided into two parts physically accessible and inaccessible entanglement. We obtain a general analytic expression of genuine N-partite entanglement that includes all accessible and inaccessible entanglement in a Schwarzschild black hole. Unlike bosonic entanglement, the accessible N-partite entanglement of Dirac fields monotonically decreases to a nonzero value with the Hawking temperature. Interestingly, the inaccessible N-partite entanglement is a monotonic or non-monotonic function of the Hawking temperature, depending on the ratio between accessible and inaccessible modes, in contrast to bipartite or tripartite entanglement that is only a monotonic function of the Hawking temperature. Finally, we obtain two restrictive relationships for the quantum information of the black hole. This conclusion provides a new understanding of Hawking effect of the black hole.

Genuine tripartite nonlocality and entanglement in curved spacetime

Shu-Min Wu, Hao‐Sheng Zeng

Abstract We study the genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) and the genuine tripartite entanglement (GTE) of Dirac fields in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole. We find that the Hawking radiation degrades both the physically accessible GTN and the physically accessible GTE. The former suffers from “sudden death” at some critical Hawking temperature, and the latter approaches to the nonzero asymptotic value in the limit of infinite Hawking temperature. We also find that the Hawking effect cannot generate the physically inaccessible GTN, but can generate the physically inaccessible GTE for fermion fields in curved spacetime. These results show that on the one hand the GTN cannot pass through the event horizon of black hole, but the GTE do can, and on the other hand the surviving physically accessible GTE and the generated physically inaccessible GTE for fermions in curved spacetime are all not nonlocal. Some monogamy relations between the physically accessible GTE and the physically inaccessible GTE are found.

Genuine N-partite entanglement in Schwarzschild-de Sitter black hole spacetime

Shu-Min Wu, Xiao-Wei Teng, Xiao-Li Huang +1 more

Abstract Complex quantum information tasks in a gravitational background require multipartite entanglement for effective processing. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the properties of multipartite entanglement in a relativistic setting. In this paper, we study genuine N-partite entanglement of massless Dirac fields in the Schwarzschild-de Sitter (SdS) spacetime, characterized by the presence of a black hole event horizon (BEH) and a cosmological event horizon (CEH). We obtain the general analytical expression of genuine N-partite entanglement shared by n observers near BEH and m ( $$n+m=N$$ n + m = N ) observers near CEH. It is shown that genuine N-partite entanglement monotonically decreases with the decrease of the mass of the black hole, suggesting that the Hawking effect of the black hole destroys quantum entanglement. It is interesting to note that genuine N-partite entanglement is a non-monotonic function of the cosmological constant, meaning that the Hawking effect of the expanding universe can enhance quantum entanglement. This result contrasts with multipartite entanglement in single-event horizon spacetime, offering a new perspective on the Hawking effect in multi-event horizon spacetime.

Bosonic and fermionic coherence of N-partite states in the background of a dilaton black hole

Wen-Mei Li, Shu-Min Wu

A bstract We study the N-partite coherences of GHZ and W states for free bosonic and fermionic fields when any n observers hover near the event horizon of a Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger (GHS) dilaton black hole. We derive the more general analytical expressions for N-partite coherence, encompassing both physically accessible and inaccessible coherences in the context of the dilaton black hole. It has been found that the coherence of the bosonic field is greater than that of the fermionic field, while the entanglement of the fermionic field is greater than that of the bosonic field in dilaton spacetime. Additionally, the coherence of the W state is greater than that of the GHZ state, whereas the entanglement of the GHZ state is greater than that of the W state in curved spacetime. These results suggest that we should utilize suitable quantum resources and different types of particles for relativistic quantum information tasks.

Quantumness and entropic uncertainty in curved space-time

Lijuan Li, Fei Ming, Xue‐Ke Song +2 more

Abstract We explore the tripartite entropic uncertainty and genuine tripartite quantumness of Dirac fields in the background of the Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger (GHS) dilation space-time. It is interesting to note that Hawking radiation leads to the decay of quantum nonlocality in the physically accessible region while preserving its total coherence. More importantly, it demonstrates an intrinsic trade-off relationship between the coherences of physically accessible and inaccessible regions. Moreover, we examine the effect of Hawking radiation on entropy-based measured uncertainty and find that stronger Hawking radiation causes the uncertainty in physically accessible regions to increase while decreasing the uncertainty in physically inaccessible regions. Therefore, our investigations may be beneficial to a better understanding of the system’s quantumness in a curved space-time. Combining relativity theory with quantum information science offers new avenues for comprehending the information paradoxes involving black holes.

Does fermionic entanglement always outperform bosonic entanglement in dilaton black hole?

Wen-Mei Li, Jianbo Lu, Shu-Min Wu

It has traditionally been believed that fermionic entanglement generally outperforms bosonic entanglement in relativistic frameworks, and that bosonic entanglement experiences sudden death in extreme gravitational environments. In this study, we analyze the genuine N-partite entanglement, measured by negativity, of bosonic and fermionic GHZ states, focusing on scenarios where a subset of $m$ ($m<N$) constituents interacts with Hawking radiation generated by a Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger (GHS) dilaton black hole. Surprisingly, we find that quantum entanglement between the non-gravitational and gravitational modes for the bosonic field is stronger than that in the same modes for the fermionic field within dilaton spacetime. This study challenges the traditional belief that ``fermionic entanglement always outperforms bosonic entanglement" in the relativistic framework. However, quantum entanglement between the gravitational modes and the combined gravitational and non-gravitational modes is weaker for the bosonic field than for the fermionic field in the presence of a dilaton black hole. Finally, the connection between the global N-partite entanglement in the bosonic field and that in the fermionic field is influenced by the gravitational field's intensity. Our study reveals the intrinsic relationship between quantum entanglement of bosonic and fermionic fields in curved spacetime from a new perspective, and provides theoretical guidance for selecting appropriate field-based quantum resources for relativistic quantum information tasks under extreme gravitational conditions.
