Abstract

We advance a construction for the balanced partial entanglement entropy (BPE) for bipartite mixed states in a class of $(1+1)$-dimensional Galilean conformal field theories dual to Einstein gravity and topologically massive gravity in asymptotically flat spacetimes. We compare our results with the entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) in the dual geometries and find exact agreement. Furthermore, utilizing a geometric picture, we demonstrate the holographic duality between the EWCS and the BPE in the context of flat holography.

Reflected entropy in Galilean conformal field theories and flat holography

Abstract We obtain the reflected entropy for bipartite states in a class of $$(1+1)$$ ( 1 + 1 ) -dimensional Galilean conformal field theories $$(GCFT_{1+1})$$ ( G C F T 1 + 1 ) through a replica technique. Furthermore we compare our results with the entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) obtained for the dual (2 + 1) dimensional asymptotically flat geometries in the context of flat holography. We find that our results are consistent with the duality between the reflected entropy and the bulk EWCS for flat holographic scenarios.

Odd entanglement entropy in Galilean conformal field theories and flat holography

Jaydeep Kumar Basak, Himanshu Chourasiya, Vinayak Raj +1 more

Abstract The odd entanglement entropy (OEE) for bipartite states in a class of $$(1+1)$$ ( 1 + 1 ) -dimensional Galilean conformal field theories ( $$GCFT_{1+1}$$ G C F T 1 + 1 ) is obtained through an appropriate replica technique. In this context our results are compared with the entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) for $$(2+1)$$ ( 2 + 1 ) -dimensional asymptotically flat geometries dual to the $$GCFT_{1+1}$$ G C F T 1 + 1 in the framework of flat holography. We find that our results are consistent with the duality of the difference between the odd entanglement entropy and the entanglement entropy of bipartite states, with the bulk EWCS for flat holographic scenarios.

Balanced partial entanglement and mixed state correlations

Hugo A. Camargo, Pratik Nandy, Qiang Wen +1 more

Recently in Ref. [1], one of the authors introduced the balanced partial entanglement (BPE), which has been proposed to be dual to the entanglement wedge cross-section (EWCS). In this paper, we explicitly demonstrate that the BPE could be considered as a proper measure of the total intrinsic correlation between two subsystems in a mixed state. The total correlation includes certain crossing correlations, which are minimized by particular balance conditions. By constructing a class of purifications from Euclidean path-integrals, we find that the balanced crossing correlations show universality and can be considered as the generalization of the Markov gap for the canonical purification. We also test the relation between the BPE and the EWCS in three-dimensional asymptotically flat holography. We find that the balanced crossing correlation vanishes for the field theory invariant under BMS _3 3 symmetry (BMSFT) and dual to the Einstein gravity, indicating the possibility of a perfect Markov recovery. We further elucidate these crossing correlations as a signature of tripartite entanglement and explain their interpretation in both AdS and non-AdS holography.

Covariant entanglement wedge cross-section, balanced partial entanglement and gravitational anomalies

Qiang Wen, Haocheng Zhong

The balanced partial entanglement (BPE) was observed to give the reflected entropy and the entanglement wedge cross-section (EWCS) for various mixed states in different theories [1,2]. It can be calculated in different purifications, and is conjectured to be independent from purifications. In this paper we calculate the BPE and the EWCS in generic covariant scenarios in two-dimensional CFTs with and without gravitational anomalies, and find that they coincide with the reflected entropy. In covariant configurations we determine the partition for the purifying system with the help of the gravitational anomalies, and we extend our discussion to topological massive gravity (TMG). We give the first prescription to evaluate the entropy quantity associated to the EWCS beyond Einstein gravity, i.e. the correction to the EWCS from the Chern-Simons term in TMG. Apart from the gravity theory and geometry, further input from the mixed state should be taken into account.

The reflected entropy in the GMMG/GCFT flat holography

Mohammad Reza Setare, M. Koohgard

We extend the reflected entropy to the bipartite state in a two dimensional Galilean conformal field theory ($GCFT_2$) which is dual to the asymptotically flat spacetime described by the generalized minimal massive gravity (GMMG). To this end we consider the Renyi entanglement entropy formula that can be related to the reflected entropy by some manipulations of the replica technique. In a limited case, we find the reflected entropy is twice the minimal entanglement wedge cross section (EWCS) and this is an evidence on the relation between the reflected entropy and the EWCS in the flat holography scenario.

Entanglement wedge in flat holography and entanglement negativity

Debarshi Basu, Ashish Chandra, Vinayak Raj +1 more

We establish a construction for the entanglement wedge in asymptotically flat bulk geometries for subsystems in dual (1+1)-dimensional Galilean conformal field theories in the context of flat space holography. In this connection we propose a definition for the bulk entanglement wedge cross section for bipartite states of such dual non relativistic conformal field theories. Utilizing our construction for the entanglement wedge cross section we compute the entanglement negativity for such bipartite states through the generalization of an earlier proposal, in the context of the usual AdS/CFT scenario, to flat space holography. The entanglement negativity obtained from our construction exactly reproduces earlier holographic results and match with the corresponding field theory replica technique results in the large central charge limit.
