Reduced qKZ equation and genuine qKZ equation

A. V. Razumov

Published Jul 24, 2020• 6 citations
arXivHTMLPDF

Abstract

Abstract The work is devoted to the study of quantum integrable systems associated with quantum loop algebras. The recently obtained equation for the zero temperature inhomogeneous reduced density operator is analyzed. It is demonstrated that any solution of the corresponding qKZ equation generates a solution to this equation.

Reduced qKZ equation: general case

Andreas Klümper, Khazret S Nirov, Alexander V Razumov

Abstract We use the quantum group approach for the investigation of correlation func- tions of integrable vertex models and spin chains. For the inhomogeneous reduced density matrix in case of an arbitrary simple Lie algebra we find functional equations of the form of the reduced quantum Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov equation. This equation is the starting point for the investigation of correlation functions at arbitrary temperature and notably for the ground state.

On the calculation of the correlation functions of the s l 3 -model by means of the reduced qKZ equation

Herman E. Boos, Arthur Hutsalyuk, Khazret S. Nirov

Abstract We study the reduced density matrix of the -invariant fundamental exchange model by means of a novel reduced quantum Knizhnik–Zamolodchikov equation. This gives us insight into the algebraic structure and explicit results for correlation functions in the infinite chain ranging over up to three sites.

Quantum Statistics and the Boltzmann Equation

Robert Michael Lewis

The system of hierarchy equations for the reduced density operators of quantum statistical mechanics is replaced by a single functional differential equation for a generating functional. A formal solution of the initial value problem for the latter equation is obtained, leading to series expansions of the reduced density operators. These expansions are used to obtain an improved derivation of the quantum-mechanical Boltzmann equation.

Reduced qKZ equation and correlation functions of the XXZ model

Herman E. Boos, M. Jimbo, T. Miwa +2 more

Abstract. Correlation functions of the XXZ model in the massive and massless regimes are known to satisfy a system of linear equations. The main relations among them are the difference equations obtained from the qKZ equation by specializing the variables (λ1, · · · , λ2n) as (λ1, · · · , λn, λn + 1, · · · , λ1 + 1). We call it the reduced qKZ equation. In this article we construct a special family of solutions to this system. They can be written as linear combinations of products of two transcendental functions ˜ω, ω with coefficients being rational functions. We show that correlation functions of the XXZ model in the massive regime are given by these formulas with an appropriate choice of ˜ω, ω. We also present a conjectural formula in the massless regime. 1.

1 Yang-Baxter algebra and generation of quantum integrable models

Anjan Kundu

An operator defoemed quantum algebra is discovered exploiting the quantum Yang-Baxter equation with trigonometric R-matrix. This novel Hopf algebra along with its q → 1 limit seem to be the most general Yang-Baxter algebra underlying quantum integrable systems. Three different directions of application of this algebra in integrable systems depending on different sets of values of deforming operators are identified. Fixed values on the whole lattice yield subalgebras linked to standard quantum integrable models, while the associated Lax operators generate and classify them in an unified way. Variable values construct a new series of quantum integrable inhomogeneous models. Fixed but different values at different lattice sites can produce a novel class of integrable hybrid models including integrable matter-radiation models and quantum field models with defects, in particular, a new quantum integrable sine-Gordon model with defect.
