About One Interesting and Important Model in Quantum Mechanics II. Thermodynamic Description

Yu. G. Rudoy, Enock Oluwole Oladimeji

In this paper the detailed investigation of one of the most interesting models in the non relativistic quantum mechanics of one massive particle i.e., introduced by G. Poeschl and E. Teller in 1933 is continued; the starting point of dynamic analysis for potentials, wave functions and energy spectrum was carried on by the same authors in the paper. The generalization of these results on the case of nonzero temperature includes the approximate calculation of the partition function of the model and then also the Massieu Planck thermodynamic potential and its most important derivatives, i.e. internal energy, heat capacity and pressure. The analysis of the results is carried on separately for low and high temperature regions because of the lack of exact unifying expressions of the potential at all temperatures.

Connecting Temperature to Wave Function Collapse: A Statistical and Thermodynamic Perspective

Bhushan Bhoja Poojary

We propose a novel hypothesis linking temperature to the frequency of wave function collapse in quantum systems. This framework connects thermodynamic entropy, quantum decoherence, and information theory, suggesting that higher temperatures correspond to increased wave function collapses due to enhanced environmental interactions. The mathematical models derived herein lay the foundation for experimental validation and bridge thermodynamics with quantum mechanics through a unified perspective. ON THE RANDOM QFT FOUNDATIONS OF STATISTICAL MECHANICS

C. Syros

The Statistical Mechanics of the N-particle system is derived from Quantum Random Field Theory. An asymptotically measure preserving, flow operator has been obtained from the QFT evolution operator. A basic assumption is that the field Lagrangian is a generalized, infinitely divisible random field, and the interaction Hamiltonian varies in time in a step-wise manner at the transition lattice space-time points. Macroscopic boundary conditions are imposed on the wave functions. The density matrix, the partition function, the Bose-Einstein, the Fermi-Dirac distributions and the thermodynamic temperature follow. The equilibrium or non-equilibrium temperature have been obtained as functionals of the interaction Hamiltonian. The chemical potential has also been derived from the theory.
