Abstract

The Jaynes–Cummings model is solved with the raising and lowering (shift) operators using the matrix-diagonalizing technique. Bell nonlocality is also found to be present ubiquitously in the excitation states of the model .

Oscillator-like coherent states for the Jaynes-Cummings Model

Yves Bérubé-Lauzière, Véronique Hussin, Michael Martin Nieto

A new way of diagonalizing the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian is proposed, which allows the definition of annihilation operators and coherent states for this model. Mean values and dispersions over these states are computed and interpreted.

Annihilation operators and coherent states for the Jaynes-Cummings model

Yves Bérubé-Lauzière, Véronique Hussin, Luis Miguel Nieto

An alternative way of diagonalizing the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian is proposed and allows the definition of annihilation operators and coherent states for this model. Mean values and dispersions over these states are computed and interpreted. Limiting cases which are physically interesting are also examined.

The Jaynes-Cummings model and raising and lowering operators

Véronique Hussin, L M Nieto

Ladder operators acting on the energy eigenstates of the Jaynes-Cummings model in the rotating wave approximation are constructed using the fact that they satisfy some reasonable additionnal properties. In fact, we show that it is possible to write the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian as a product of such ladder operators. It may be relevant for the study of new sets of coherent states for this model.

Diagonalizing the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian and Jaynes-Cummings coherent states

Stephen Mark Barnett, Bryan J. Dalton

We determine the form of the unitary transformation that diagonalizes the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian. This leads to operators the action of which has a simple interpretation in terms of the dressed states, the energy eigenstates. This suggests a set of coherent states and spin coherent states based on the dressed states.

Supersymmetric Unitary Operator for Some Generalized Jaynes–Cummings Models

Hong-Yi Fan, Liang‐shi Li

We introduce supersymmetric unitary operators to directly diagonalize some generalized Jaynes–Cummings (J–C) Hamiltonians; which more deeply shows that supersymmetry is a natural language to depict the J–C model.

Unified and standardized procedure to solve various nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings models

Xiaoxue Yang, Ying Wu, Yuanjie Li

In this article we present a simple and unified procedure to solve various nonlinear two-level Jaynes-Cummings models. By establishing their similarity to the model describing a spin- particle in a magnetic field, we obtain the standardized forms, appropriate uniformly for all Jaynes-Cummings models, of eigenvalues, eigenstates, evolution, and atomic inversion operators. In this way, we show that the analytical solution of any single-mode and two-mode nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model can easily be obtained. We also apply this procedure to a three-mode Jaynes-Cummings model.
