Upper bound of the fully entangled fraction

Ming Li, Shao-Ming Fei, Zhi‐Xi Wang

We study the fully entangled fraction of quantum states. An upper bound is obtained for arbitrary dimensional bipartite systems. This bound is shown to be exact for the case of two-qubit systems. An inequality related the fully entangled fraction of two qubits in a three-qubit mixed state has been also presented.

On fully entangled fraction of arbitrary $d\otimes d$ quantum states

Xue-Na Zhu, Gui Bao, Ming Li +2 more

We study the fully entangled fraction of quantum states based on the Bloch representation of density matrices. Analytical upper bounds on the fully entangled fraction are obtained for arbitrary $d\otimes d$ bipartite systems. The fully entangled fractions for classes of $d\otimes d$ quantum states are analytically derived. Detailed examples are given to illustrate the advantages of our results.

On Estimation of Fully Entangled Fraction

Ruijuan Gu, Ming Li, Shao-Ming Fei +1 more

We study the fully entangled fraction (FEF) of arbitrary mixed states. New upper bounds of FEF are derived. These upper bounds make complements on the estimation of the value of FEF. For weakly mixed quantum states, an upper bound is shown to be very tight to the exact value of FEF.

Evolution of entanglement for quantum mixed states

Chang‐shui Yu, X. X. Yi, He‐Shan Song

A simple relation is introduced for concurrence to describe how much the entanglement of a bipartite system is at least left if either (or both) subsystem undergoes an arbitrary physical process. This provides a lower bound for concurrence of mixed states (pure states are included) in contrast to the upper bound given by Konrad et al. [Nat. Phys. 4, 99 (2008)]. Our results are also suitable for general high-dimensional bipartite quantum systems.

Concurrence, Tangle and Fully Entangled Fraction of Quantum Entanglement

Ming Li, Shao-Ming Fei, Xianqing Li‐Jost +1 more

We show that although we can not distill a singlet from many pairs of bound entangled states, the concurrence and tangle of two entangled quantum states are always strictly larger than that of one, even both entangled quantum states are bound entangled. We present a relation between the concurrence and the fidelity of optimal teleportation. We also give new upper and lower bounds for concurrence and tangle.
