Abstract

We propose a method to detect genuine quantum correlation for multi-qubit pure states. We then derive a complementarity relations for pure quantum states of N qubits. We prove that in all many-qubit systems there exist strict monogamy laws for quantum correlations. On the other hand, it is known that the entanglement monogamy equality proposed by Coffman, Kundu, and Wootters is in general not true for multiqubit states. Inducing from the CKW equality, we find a proper form of entanglement monogamy equality for arbitrary quantum states. The total quantum correlation of qubit k with the remaining qubits Rk can be characterizes. Furthermore, the quantum correlation of qubit mn with the remaining qubits Rmn can also be obtained. Furthermore, some monogamy relations have been obtained.

General monogamy equalities of complementarity relation and distributive entanglement for multi-qubit pure states

Abstract In this paper, we determine the complementarity relations for pure quantum states of N qubits by presenting the definition of local and non-local forms. By comparing the entanglement monogamy equality proposed by Coffman, Kundu, and Wootters, we prove that there exist strict monogamy laws for quantum correlations in all many-qubit systems. Further, the proper form of general entanglement monogamy equality for arbitrary quantum states is found with the characterization of total quantum correlation of qubits. These results may open a new window for multi-qubit entanglement.

Generalized monogamy linear entropy relations for multi-qubit pure states

Xin-Wei Zha, Irfan Ahmed, Da Zhang +1 more

Abstract Monogamy of entanglement is an interesting property discovered recently in the context of multi-qubit entanglement. Here, we present a new kind of monogamous relations for pure quantum states of N qubits. By comparing the entanglement monogamy equality proposed by Coffman, Kundu, and Wootters, we prove that there exists a strict triangle relation for the three-qubit system. Since the entropy defines the entanglement of a pure state of a pair of quantum systems; therefore, using linear entropy, we conjecture that there is a polygon relation of many-qubit systems. We also formalize the general triangle relation for the three-qubit system.

Monogamy Equalities for Qubit Entanglement from Lorentz Invariance

Christopher Eltschka, Jens Siewert

A striking result from nonrelativistic quantum mechanics is the monogamy of entanglement, which states that a particle can be maximally entangled only with one other party, not with several ones. While there is the exact quantitative relation for three qubits and also several inequalities describing monogamy properties, it is not clear to what extent exact monogamy relations are a general feature of quantum mechanics. We prove that in all many-qubit systems there exist strict monogamy laws for quantum correlations. They come about through the curious relationship between the nonrelativistic quantum mechanics of qubits and Minkowski space. We elucidate the origin of entanglement monogamy from this symmetry perspective and provide recipes to construct new families of such equalities.

Strong monogamy of four-qubit entanglement

Bartosz Regula, Sara Di Martino, Soojoon Lee +1 more

We investigate the distribution of bipartite and multipartite entanglement in multiqubit states. In particular we define a set of monogamy inequalities sharpening the conventional Coffman-Kundu-Wootters constraints, and we provide analytical proofs of their validity for relevant classes of states. We present extensive numerical evidence validating the conjectured strong monogamy inequalities for arbitrary pure states of four qubits.

Multilinear monogamy relations for multiqubit states

Xian Shi, Lin Chen, Mengyao Hu

The monogamy of entanglement means that entanglement cannot be freely shared. In 2014, Oliveira et al. [T. R. de Oliveira, M. F. Cornelio, and F. F. Fanchini, Phys. Rev. A 89, 034303 (2014)] proposed a monogamy relation in the linear version and considered it in terms of entanglement of formation. Here we generalize the above version and consider a multilinear monogamy relation for a multiqubit system in terms of entanglement of formation and concurrence. Based on the above results, we present an entanglement criterion for genuine entangled states; also we consider the absolutely maximally entangled states and present what an absolutely maximally entangled state is for a three-qubit system. Last, we apply our results to a three-qubit pure state in terms of quantum discord.
