Abstract

Using the nested coordinate Bethe ansatz, we study 3-state Hamiltonians with 33 non-vanishing entries, or 33-vertex models, where only one global charge with degenerate eigenvalues exists and each site possesses three internal degrees of freedom. In the context of Markovian processes, they correspond to diffusing particles with two possible internal states which may be exchanged during the diffusion (transmutation). The first step of the nested coordinate Bethe ansatz is performed providing the eigenvalues in terms of rapidities. We give the constraints ensuring the consistency of the computations. These rapidities also satisfy Bethe equations involving 4 × 4 R-matrices, solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation which implies new constraints on the models. We solve them allowing us to list all the solvable 33-vertex models.

Classification of three-state Hamiltonians solvable by the coordinate Bethe ansatz

Nicolas Crampé, L. Frappat, E. Ragoucy

We classify 'all' Hamiltonians with rank 1 symmetry and nearest-neighbour interactions, acting on a periodic three-state spin chain, and solvable through (generalization of) the coordinate Bethe ansatz (CBA). In this way we obtain four multi-parametric extensions of the known 19-vertex Hamiltonians (such as Zamolodchikov–Fateev, Izergin–Korepin and Bariev Hamiltonians). Apart from the 19-vertex Hamiltonians, there exist 17-vertex and 14-vertex Hamiltonians that cannot be viewed as subcases of the 19-vertex ones. In the case of 17-vertex Hamiltonians, we get a generalization of the genus 5 special branch found by Martins, plus three new ones. We also get two 14-vertex Hamiltonians. We solve all these Hamiltonians using CBA, and provide their spectrum, eigenfunctions and Bethe equations. Special attention is given to provide the specifications of our multi-parametric Hamiltonians that give back known Hamiltonians.

Classification of three-state Hamiltonians solvable by Coordinate Bethe Ansatz

Generalized Gibbs Ensemble and string-charge relations in nested Bethe Ansatz

Gyorgy Fehér, Balázs Pozsgay

The non-equilibrium steady states of integrable models are believed to be described by the Generalized Gibbs Ensemble (GGE), which involves all local and quasi-local conserved charges of the model. In this work we investigate integrable lattice models solvable by the nested Bethe Ansatz, with group symmetry SU(N) S U ( N ) , N\ge 3 N ≥ 3 . In these models the Bethe Ansatz involves various types of Bethe rapidities corresponding to the “nesting” procedure, describing the internal degrees of freedom for the excitations. We show that a complete set of charges for the GGE can be obtained from the known fusion hierarchy of transfer matrices. The resulting charges are quasi-local in a certain regime in rapidity space, and they completely fix the rapidity distributions of each string type from each nesting level.

Integrability of two-species partially asymmetric exclusion processes

Ivan Lobaskin, M. R. Evans, Kirone Mallick

Abstract We work towards the classification of all one-dimensional exclusion processes with two species of particles that can be solved by a nested coordinate Bethe ansatz (BA). Using the Yang–Baxter equations, we obtain conditions on the model parameters that ensure that the underlying system is integrable. Three classes of integrable models are thus found. Of these, two classes are well known in literature, but the third has not been studied until recently, and never in the context of the BA. The Bethe equations are derived for the latter model as well as for the associated dynamics encoding the large deviation of the currents.

R matrices of three-state Hamiltonians solvable by coordinate Bethe ansatz

Tiago Fonseca, L. Frappat, E. Ragoucy

We review some of the strategies that can be implemented to infer an R-matrix from the knowledge of its Hamiltonian. We apply them to the classification achieved in Crampé, Frappat, and Ragoucy, J. Phys. A 46, 405001 (2013), on three state U(1)-invariant Hamiltonians solvable by coordinate Bethe ansatz, focusing on models for which the S-matrix is not trivial. For the 19-vertex solutions, we recover the R-matrices of the well-known Zamolodchikov–Fateev and Izergin–Korepin models. We point out that the generalized Bariev Hamiltonian is related to both main and special branches studied by Martins in Nucl. Phys. B 874, 243 (2013), that we prove to generate the same Hamiltonian. The 19-vertex SpR model still resists to the analysis, although we are able to state some no-go theorems on its R-matrix. For 17-vertex Hamiltonians, we produce a new R-matrix.
