On the asymptotic expansion of the correlators in the XX spin chain

Alexander A. Ovchinnikov

Using the XX- spin chain as an example we show that in general the asymptotic expansion of the correlator at large distances is not given by the sum over the low-lying particle-hole intermediate states. Only the first two terms in the expansion agree with the predictions of the Luttinger liquid theory. The other terms are in general given by the intermediate states with the particles and holes with the quantum numbers far away from the Fermi- points (at the distances of order of the length of the chain). We argue that the whole expansion cannot be described by the Luttinger liquid theory.

Examples of potentials with convergent Schwinger - DeWitt expansion

V. A. Slobodenyuk

Convergence of the Schwinger --- DeWitt expansion for the evolution operator kernel for special class of potentials is studied. It is shown, that this expansion, which is in general case asymptotic, converges for the potentials considered (widely used, in particular, in one-dimensional many-body problems), and besides, convergence takes place only for definite discrete values of the coupling constant. For other values of the charge divergent expansion determines the kernels having essential singularity at origin (beyond usual $δ$-function). If one consider only this class of potentials then one can avoid many problems, connected with asymptotic expansions, and one get the theory with discrete values of the coupling constant that is in correspondence with discreteness of the charge in the nature. This approach can be transmitted into the quantum field theory.

Asymptotic Expansions for Quantum Neural Operators with Marchaud Derivatives and Deformed Commutators

Rômulo Damasclin Chaves dos Santos, Delvonei Alves de Andrade

We prove a complete asymptotic expansion for quantum neural network operators when they approximate arbitrary quantum channels. This is the non-commutative analogue of the classical Voronovskaja theorem. The expansion reveals that the approximation error splits into three fundamentally different parts: integer powers of the expansion parameter involving ordinary Fréchet derivatives; fractional powers governed by Marchaud fractional derivatives, which capture the Hölder smoothness of the channel; and purely quantum commutator terms that have no classical counterpart. The remainder is bounded sharply by an explicit constant multiplied by the corresponding asymptotic order. We present a numerical test for a classical analogue that confirms the predicted convergence rate and the logarithmic correction, directly validating the asymptotic theory. Based on this expansion, we obtain three major advances: a quantum central limit theorem for the fluctuations of quantum neural network operators, a method to construct optimal interpolation geodesics between quantum channels via Kubo-Ando means, and a systematic understanding of how fractional smoothness limits the acceleration of quantum neural network approximations. The numerical test further demonstrates that the theoretical rates are sharp and that logarithmic enhancements are unavoidable. Altogether, our work builds a rigorous bridge between classical approximation theory, fractional calculus, and quantum machine learning, offering both theoretical insight and practical tools for designing and analyzing quantum neural networks in finite dimensions.
