Abstract

We give a sufficient condition in detecting entanglement resource for perfect multiqubit teleportation. The criterion involves only local measurements on some complementary observables and can be experimentally implemented. It is also a necessary condition for fully separability of multiqubit states. Moreover, by proving the optimality of teleportation witnesses, we solve the open problem in [Phys. Rev. A {\bf 86}, 032315 (2012)].

Complete entanglement witness for quantum teleportation

Ming‐Jing Zhao, Shao-Ming Fei, Xianqing Li‐Jost

We propose a set of linear quantum entanglement witnesses constituted by local quantum-mechanical observables with each two possible measurement outcomes. These witnesses detect all the entangled resources which give rise to a better fidelity than separable states in quantum teleportation and present both sufficient and necessary conditions in experimentally detecting the useful resources for quantum teleportation.

Faithful teleportation with arbitrary pure or mixed resource states

Ming‐Jing Zhao, Zong-Guo Li, Shao-Ming Fei +2 more

We study faithful teleportation systematically with arbitrary entangled states as resources. The necessary conditions of mixed states to complete perfect teleportation are proved. Based on these results, the necessary and sufficient conditions of faithful teleportation of an unknown state |ϕ⟩ in with an entangled resource ρ in and are derived. It is shown that for ρ in , ρ must be a maximally entangled state, while for ρ in , ρ must be a pure maximally entangled state. Moreover, we show that the sender's measurements must be all projectors of maximally entangled pure states. The relations between the entanglement of the formation of the resource states and faithful teleportation are also discussed.

Geometric Construction of Optimal Teleportation Witnesses

Yanning Jia, Fenzhuo Guo, Mengxuan Bai +3 more

Not all entangled states are useful for quantum teleportation. We present a geometric method to construct optimal teleportation witnesses, which provide operational necessary and sufficient criteria for identifying the teleportation usefulness of arbitrary two-qudit entangled states. Specifically, by developing a two-layer iterative cutting-plane algorithm to solve the shortest distance problem from the target state $ρ$ to the convex set $S$ of useless states, we obtain the projection point $σ^* \in S$ and then construct the optimal teleportation witness from the projection geometry. Moreover, the shortest distance $D(ρ)$ obtained during this construction also serves as a necessary and sufficient criterion for usefulness. We apply our method to identify the teleportation usefulness of three classes of entangled states.

Separable Multipartite Mixed States: Operational Asymptotically Necessary and Sufficient Conditions

Fernando G. S. L. Brandão, Reinaldo O. Vianna

We introduce an operational procedure to determine, with arbitrary probability and accuracy, optimal entanglement witnesses for every multipartite entangled state. This method provides an operational criterion for separability which is asymptotically necessary and sufficient. Our results are also generalized to detect all different types of multipartite entanglement.
