Abstract

Herein, we present a feasible, general protocol for quantum communication within a network via generalized remote preparation of an arbitrary m-qubit entangled state designed with genuine tripartite Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger-type entangled resources. During the implementations, we construct novel collective unitary operations; these operations are tasked with performing the necessary phase transfers during remote state preparations. We have distilled our implementation methods into a five-step procedure, which can be used to faithfully recover the desired state during transfer. Compared to previous existing schemes, our methodology features a greatly increased success probability. After the consumption of auxiliary qubits and the performance of collective unitary operations, the probability of successful state transfer is increased four-fold and eight-fold for arbitrary two- and three-qubit entanglements when compared to other methods within the literature, respectively. We conclude this paper with a discussion of the presented scheme for state preparation, including: success probabilities, reducibility and generalizability.

Multiparty-controlled remote preparation of four-qubit cluster-type entangled states

Dong Wang, Liu Ye, Sabre Kais

We present a strategy for implementing multiparty-controlled remote state preparation (MCRSP) for a family of four-qubit cluster-type states with genuine entanglements while employing, Greenberg-Horne-Zeilinger-class states as quantum channels. In this scenario, the encoded information is transmitted from the sender to a spatially separated receiver via the control of multi-party. Predicated on the collaboration of all participants, the desired state can be entirely restored within the receiver's place with high success probability by application of appropriate local operations and necessary classical communication . Moreover, this proposal for MCRSP can be faithfully achieved with unit total success probability when the quantum channels are distilled to maximally entangled ones.

Deterministic joint remote preparation of arbitrary four-particle genuine entangled state

Jian Li, Jin-Rui Nie, Zhao Peijun +2 more

A novel deterministic joint remote preparation scheme of arbitrary four-particle genuine entangled state from one sender to either of two receivers is proposed. Two three-particle Green-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states and one four-particle GHZ state are used as the quantum channel. The presented scheme is realized through orthogonal projective measurement of the Hadamard transferred basis and recovery operation U|ijk〉. Some useful and general measurement bases have been constructed. The classical communication cost of the presented scheme is also calculated. Our analysis confirms the feasibility and validity of the proposed method, and shows that it has a 100% probability of success in preparation of the target quantum state.

Novel Criteria for Deterministic Remote State Preparation via the Entangled Six-Qubit State

Gang Xu, Xiu‐Bo Chen, Zhao Dou +3 more

In this paper, our concern is to design some criteria for deterministic remote state preparation for preparing an arbitrary three-particle state via a genuinely entangled six-qubit state. First, we put forward two schemes in both the real and complex Hilbert space, respectively. Using an appropriate set of eight-qubit measurement basis, the remote three-qubit preparation is completed with unit success probability. Departing from previous research, our protocol has a salient feature in that the serviceable measurement basis only contains the initial coefficients and their conjugate values. By utilizing the permutation group, it is convenient to provide the permutation relationship between coefficients. Second, our ideas and methods can also be generalized to the situation of preparing an arbitrary N-particle state in complex case by taking advantage of Bell states as quantum resources. More importantly, criteria satisfied conditions for preparation with 100% success probability in complex Hilbert space is summarized. Third, the classical communication costs of our scheme are calculated to determine the classical recourses required. It is also worth mentioning that our protocol has higher efficiency and lower resource costs compared with the other papers.

Remote state preparation with quantum remote control

Peng Jia-yin, Ming-Qiang Bai, Zhi–Wen Mo

We put forward two novel and perfect protocols for preparing an arbitrary single–particle state and simultaneously implementing a rotation operator or an arbitrary unitary operator on that particle. There are schemes for either only teleporting particles or only remotely controlling quantun particles. If one has to remotely control a prepared quantum, then he/ she has to first do remote state preparation and then executes the remote control on the prepared quantum. Both operations ware done separately on two sets of entanglements. However, this intuitive solution is inefficient because many resources are wasted. Thus, we attempt to complete both operations by sharing one three–particle Greenberger–Horne– Zeilinger (GHZ) state. Comparing our two protocols with the corresponding intuitive solutions, respectively, the results show that our protocols are more efficient than the corresponding intuitive solutions. Only Pauli operators, controlled–NOT gate, Bell–state measurement, single–qubit measurement, Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) state and GHZ state are used in our schemes, so these schemes are easily realized in physical experiment.

Controlled Remote Preparation of a Two-Qubit State via an Asymmetric Quantum Channel

Zhang-Yin Wang

I present a new scheme for probabilistic remote preparation of a general two-qubit state from a sender to either of two receivers. The quantum channel is composed of a partial entangled tripartite Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger (GHZ) state and a W-type state. I try to realize the remote two-qubit preparation by using the usual projective measurement and the method of positive operator-valued measure, respectively. The corresponding success probabilities of the scheme with different methods as well as the total classical communication cost required in this scheme are also calculated.

Schemes for deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary tripartite four-qubit entangled state

Peng-Cheng Ma, Gui-Bin Chen, Xiaowei Li +1 more

Abstract We present two schemes for the joint remote state preparation (JRSP) of an arbitrary tripartite four-qubit entangled state with complex coefficients via four and two three-qubit GHZ states as the quantum channel, respectively. In these schemes, the two senders share the original state which they wish to help the receiver remotely prepare. To complete the JRSP schemes, some novel sets of mutually orthogonal basis vectors are introduced. It is shown that, only if the two senders collaborate with each other, and perform projective measurements under a suitable measuring basis on their own qubits respectively, can the receiver reconstruct the original state by means of some appropriate unitary operations. We demonstrate, in our both schemes, the total success probability of the JRSP can reach 1. Moreover, compared with the first scheme in this paper, the advantage of the second scheme is that the entanglement resource can be reduced.
