Non-Maximal Tripartite Entanglement Degradation of Dirac and Scalar Fields in Non-Inertial Frames

Abstract

The π-tangle is used to study the behavior of entanglement of a nonmaximal tripartite state of both Dirac and scalar fields in accelerated frame. For Dirac fields, the degree of degradation with acceleration of both one-tangle of accelerated observer and π-tangle, for the same initial entanglement, is different by just interchanging the values of probability amplitudes. A fraction of both one-tangles and the π-tangle always survives for any choice of acceleration and the degree of initial entanglement. For scalar field, the one-tangle of accelerated observer depends on the choice of values of probability amplitudes and it vanishes in the range of infinite acceleration, whereas for π-tangle this is not always true. The dependence of π-tangle on probability amplitudes varies with acceleration. In the lower range of acceleration, its behavior changes by switching between the values of probability amplitudes and for larger values of acceleration this dependence on probability amplitudes vanishes. Interestingly, unlike bipartite entanglement, the degradation of π-tangle against acceleration in the case of scalar fields is slower than for Dirac fields.

Degradation of nonmaximal entanglement of scalar and Dirac fields in noninertial frames

Qiyuan Pan, Jiliang Jing

The entanglement between two modes of free scalar and Dirac fields as seen by two relatively accelerated observers has been investigated. It is found that the same initial entanglement for an initial state parameter $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ and its ``normalized partner'' $\sqrt{1\ensuremath{-}{\ensuremath{\alpha}}^{2}}$ will be degraded by the Unruh effect along two different trajectories except for the maximally entangled state, which just shows the inequivalence of the quantization for a free field in Minkowski and Rindler coordinates. In the infinite-acceleration limit, the state does not have distillable entanglement for any $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ for the scalar field, but always remains entangled to a degree that is dependent on $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ for the Dirac field. It is also interesting to note that in this limit the mutual information equals just half of the initial mutual information; this result is independent of $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ and the type of field.

Entanglement measures of W-state in noninertial frames

Ariadna J. Torres-Arenas, Qian Dong, Guo-Hua Sun +2 more

In this work we present the entanglement measures of a tripartite W-State entangled system in noninertial frame through the coordinate transformation between Minkowski and Rindler. Two cases are considered, i.e., when one qubit goes in a uniform acceleration a and the others remain stationary and when two qubits undergo in a uniform acceleration and while the other is stationary. The analytical negativities for one-tangle, two-tangle and π -tangle in total are not written out explicitly except for some special cases due to complicated expressions, but we illustrate them in graphics and study their dependencies on the acceleration parameters r b and r c . We find that the negativities of the one-tangle, two-tangle and π -tangle decrease with the acceleration parameters except for the constant N A B = N B A . The negativity N C I ( A B ) and the π C I decrease faster than N A ( B C I ) and π A ( π B ) . The negativities N A C I ( N B ( A C I ) )and N B I C I decrease faster than those N A B and N A B I , respectively. It is interesting to see there exist turning points for the negativity N A ( B I C I ) at the coordinate position ( r b , r c ) with r b = r c , which implies that the N A ( B I C I ) has minimum value when Bob and Charlie are on the same position and the degree of the entanglement of the subsystem ρ A ( B I C I ) becomes smallest. The von Neumann entropy of tripartite system densities ρ A B C I and ρ A B I C I are obtained analytically. We notice that they all increase with the acceleration parameters r b and r c .

Tripartite entanglement of bosonic systems in a noninertial frame beyond the single- mode approximation

M Soltani, Atiyeh Javaheri, M Hadi

In this work, we generalize the entanglement of three-qbit Bosonic systems beyond the single-mode approximation when one of the observers is accelerated. For this purpose, we review the effects of acceleration on field modes and quantum states. The single-mode approximation and beyond the single-mode approximation methods are introduced. After this brief introduction, the main problem of this paper, tripartite entanglement of bosonic systems in a noninertial frame beyond the single- mode approximation is investigated. The tripartite entangled states have different classes with GHZ and W states being most important. Here, we choose &pi-tangle as a measure of tripartite entanglement. If the three parties share GHZ state, the corresponding &pi-tangle will increase by increasing acceleration for some Unruh modes. This phenomenon, increasing entanglement, has never been observed in the single-mode approximation for bosonic case. Moreover, the &pi-tangle dose not exhibit a monotonic behavior with increasing acceleration. In the infinite acceleration limit, the &pi-tangle goes to different nonzero values for distinct Unruh modes. Unlike GHZ state, the entanglement of the W state shows only monotonically increasing and decreasing behaviors with increasing acceleration. Also, the entanglement for all possible choices of Unruh modes approaches only 0.176 in the high acceleration limit. Therefore, according to the quantum entanglement, there is no distinction between the single-mode approximation and beyond the single-mode approximation methods in this limit.

Quantum entanglement and coherence of tripartite W state for Dirac fields under noisy channels in non-inertial frames

Kwang-Il Kim, Myong Chol Pak, Ok Song An +3 more

Abstract We investigate quantum entanglement and coherence of tripartite W state for Dirac fields under phase damping, phase flip and bit flip channels, respectively, in non-inertial frames. Via π -tangle, we numerically compute tripartite entanglement of W state under three channels when two observers are accelerated. We also analytically derive l 1 -norm quantum coherence of W state under the simultaneous influence of Unruh effect and noisy environments. For phase-damping and phase-flip channels, both the acceleration and noisy channels modulate the behaviour of the tripartitle entanglement and quantum coherence. They do not vanish even for infinite acceleration when only A 's qubit is under noisy environment, in contrast with the case when two or more observers’ qubits are under noisy environment. In the case of the bit flip channel, the behavior of the tripartite entanglement is similar to the one of the phase flip channel, but quantum coherence remains unaffected by the environment.

Tripartite Entanglements in Non-inertial Frames

Mahmoud Shamirzai, Esfahani, Bahram Nasr, Morteza Soltani

Entanglement degradation caused by the Unruh effect is discussed for the tripartite GHZ or W states constructed by modes of a non-interacting quantum field viewed by one inertial observer and two uniformly accelerated observers. For fermionic states, the Unruh effect even for infinite accelerations cannot completely remove the entanglement. However, for the bosonic states, the situation is different and the entanglement vanishes asymptotically. Also, the entanglement is studied for the bipartite subsystems. While for the GHZ states all the bipartite subsystems are identically disentangled, for the W states the bipartite subsystems are somewhat entangled, though, this entanglement can be removed for appropriately accelerated observers. Interestingly, logarithmic negativity as a measure for determining the entanglement of one part of the system relative to the other two parts, is not generally the same for different parts. This means that we encounter tripartite systems where each part is differently entangled to the other two parts.
