The bound state spectrum of the low-lying triplet states in the Be atom is investigated. In particular, we perform accurate computations of the bound triplet
S,
P,
D,
F and
G states in the four-electron Be atom. The results of these calculations are employed to draw the spectral diagram which contains the energy levels of the triplet states of Be atom. Based on our computational results we can observe transitions from the low-lying bound states to the weakly-bound, Rydberg states. For the
23S and
33S states in the Be atom we also determine a number of bound states properties and discuss the hyperfine structure by using our results of highly accurate computations.
We investigate spectral properties of a four-electron system in the Hubbard Model framework in the v — dimensional lattice Z v . We prove that the essential spectrum of the system in a quintet state consists of a single segment and the four-electron bound state or four-electron anti-bound state is absent. We show that the essential spectrum of the system in a triplete states is the union of at most three segments. We also prove that four-electron bound states or a four-electron anti-bound state exists in triplete states. We prove that in the system exists three triplete states and their spectrum are different.
The excitation spectrum of the two-chain Heisenberg ladder with antiferromagnetic interactions is studied. Our approach is based on the description of the excitations as triplets above a strong-coupling singlet ground state. The quasiparticle spectrum is calculated by treating the excitations as a dilute Bose gas with infinite on-site repulsion. Additional singlet (
S=0) and triplet (
S=1) excitations are found as quasiparticle bound states. Thus it is demonstrated that the spectrum consists of one elementary triplet, one composite triplet, and one composite singlet.
