Asymptotic Equation for Zeros of Hermite Polynomials from the Holstein-Primakoff Representation

Lucas Kocia

The Holstein-Primakoff representation for spin systems is used to derive expressions with solutions that are conjectured to be the zeros of Hermite polynomials $H_n(x)$ as $n \rightarrow \infty$. This establishes a correspondence between the zeros of the Hermite polynomials and the boundaries of the position basis of finite-dimensional Hilbert spaces.

New complex function space related to both entangled state representation and spin coherent state

Cui-hong Lv, Hong-Yi Fan

A new complex function space whose basis is the single-variable Hermite polynomial H2jξ*+τξ2τ is constructed, which is related to both entangled state representation and spin coherent state in Schwinger bosonic realization. New binomial theorem involving two-variable Hermite polynomial is derived, which helps to constitute the new complex function space. We also present a new integration transformation of the basis H2jξ*+τξ2τ with its reciprocal transformation which is useful to deriving some operator identities.

Wigner function and tomogram of the Hermite polynomial state

Meng Xiang-Guo, Wang Ji-Suo, Li Yan-Ling

Using the coherent state representation of Wigner operator and the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, this paper derives the Wigner function for the Hermite polynomial state (HPS). The tomogram of the HPS is calculated with the aid of newly introduced intermediate coordinate-momentum representation in quantum optics.
