Abstract

In this article, we investigate the communication channel of fermionic system in an accelerated frame. We observe that at the infinite acceleration, the mutual information of single rail quantum channel coincides with that of double rail quantum channel, but those of classical ones reach different values. Furthermore, we find that at the infinite acceleration, the conditional entropy of single(or double) rail quantum channel vanishes, but those of classical ones may have finite values. In addition, we see that even when considering a method beyond the single mode approximation, the dual rail entangled state seems to provide better channel capacity than the single rail entangled state, unlike the bosonic case. Moreover, we find that the single-mode approximation is not sufficient to analyze the communication channel of fermionic system in an accelerated frame.

Geometric discord of quantum states of fermionic system in accelerated frame

Jinho Chang, L. C. Kwek, Younghun Kwon

In this article, we investigate the geometric discord of quantum states of fermionic system in accelerated frame. It is shown by the method beyond the single-mode approximation, depending on the region considered, that the geometric discord for the entangled quantum states of fermionic system in accelerated frame can vanish or be retained at the infinite acceleration limit: it does not disappear when the quantum state of the particle(Alice)-particle(Bob in region I) case or the particle(Alice)-antiparticle(Bob in region II) is considered and it disappears when the particle(Alice)-antiparticle(Bob in region I) case or the particle(Alice)-particle(Bob in region II) one is considered.

Fundamental limitations to information transfer in accelerated frames

Eduardo Martín-Martínez, Dominic Hosler, Miguel Montero

We study communication between an inertial observer and one of two causally disconnected counteraccelerating observers. We will restrict the quantum channel considering inertial-to-accelerated bipartite classical and quantum communication over different sets of Unruh modes (single-rail or dual-rail encoding). We find that the coherent information (and therefore the amount of entanglement that can be generated via state merging protocol) in this strongly restricted channel presents some interesting monogamy properties between the inertial and only one of the accelerated observers if we take a fixed choice of the Unruh mode used in the channel. The optimization of the controllable parameters is also studied and we find that they deviate from the values usually employed in the literature.

Challenges of Superdense Coding with Accelerated Fermions

Mehrnoosh Farahmand, Hosein Mohammadzadeh

Two particles, even being far from each other have quantum correlation as a result of the existence of entanglement between them. Therefore, information can be shared by entangled particles, sitting in separate places. Superdense coding is one of the quantum protocols that rely on entanglement. In this paper, we review superdense coding with a non-inertial observer in the beyond single mode approximation and investigate the probability of success for superdense coding. We analyze the mutual information due to the effects of acceleration on the quantum and classical correlations of the state. Entanglement behavior is studied considering an entanglement measure the so-called the concurrence. Comparing the mutual information and the concurrence with the probability of superdense coding is shown that quantities have different behaviors, particularly, when the beyond single mode approximation plays a powerful role.

Dynamics of Fermionic Geometric Discord beyond Single-Mode Approximations

Muhammad Asif Ramzan

Geometric quantum discord of fermionic systems in the relativistic regime, that is, beyond the single-mode approximation, is investigated. It is shown that geometric quantum discord for the fermionic systems in non-inertial frames converges at an infinite acceleration limit, which means that the fermionic systems become independent of the choice of Unruh modes (q R ) beyond single-mode approximation. The discord may vanish or be retained depending upon the level of mixedness of the fermionic system. The dynamics of geometric discord are investigated under amplitude damping, depolarizing, phase damping and flipping channels. The vanishing behavior of discord is seen for a higher level of decoherence in the infinite acceleration limit. The depolarizing channel dominantly affects the fermionic geometric discord as compared to the amplitude and phase damping channels. This implies that the depolarizing channel has most destructive influence on the discord of the fermionic systems. However, the flipping channels have a symmetrical effect on the discord. Moreover, the discord heavily depends on the mixedness parameter of the quantum state of the fermionic systems in accelerated frames beyond single-mode approximation.

Multipartite entanglement of fermionic systems in noninertial frames

Jieci Wang, Jiliang Jing

The bipartite and tripartite entanglement of a 3-qubit fermionic system when one or two subsystems accelerate are investigated. It is shown that all the one-tangles decrease as the acceleration increases. However, unlike the scalar case, here one-tangles ${\mathcal{N}}_{{C}_{I}({\mathrm{AB}}_{I})}$ and ${\mathcal{N}}_{{C}_{I}(\mathrm{AB})}$ never reduce to zero for any acceleration. It is found that the system has only tripartite entanglement when either one or two subsystems accelerate, which means that the acceleration does not generate bipartite entanglement and does not affect the entanglement structure of the quantum states in this system. It is of interest to note that the $\ensuremath{\pi}$-tangle of the two-observer-accelerated case decreases much quicker than that of the one-observer-accelerated case and it reduces to a nonzero minimum in the infinite-acceleration limit. Thus we argue that the qutrit systems are better than qubit systems in performing quantum information processing tasks in noninertial systems.

Information gap for classical and quantum communication in a Schwarzschild spacetime

Dominic Hosler, Carsten van de Bruck, Pieter Kok

Communication between a free-falling observer and an observer hovering above the Schwarzschild horizon of a black hole suffers from Unruh-Hawking noise, which degrades communication channels. Ignoring time dilation, which affects all channels equally, we show that for bosonic communication using single- and dual-rail encoding, the classical channel capacity reaches a finite value and the quantum coherent information tends to zero. We conclude that classical correlations still exist at infinite acceleration, whereas the quantum coherence is fully removed.
