Abstract

We study infinitely many commuting operators TB(z), which we call infinite transfer matrix of boundary Uq,p(AN−1(1)) face model. We diagonalize the infinite transfer matrix TB(z) by using free field realizations of the vertex operators of the elliptic quantum group Uq,p(AN−1(1)).

Free field approach to diagonalization of boundary transfer matrix : recent advances

Takeo Kojima

We diagonalize infinitely many commuting operators T B ( z ). We call these operators T B ( z ) the boundary transfer matrix associated with the quantum group and the elliptic quantum group. The boundary transfer matrix is related to the solvable model with a boundary. When we diagonalize the boundary transfer matrix, we can calculate the correlation functions for the solvable model with a boundary. We review the free field approach to diagonalization of the boundary transfer matrix T B ( z ) associated with U q ( A (2) 2 ) and . We construct the free field realizations of the eigenvectors of the boundary transfer matrix TB ( z ). This paper includes new unpublished formula of the eigenvector for U q ( A (2) 2 ). It is thought that this diagonalization method can be extended to more general quantum group U q ( g ) and elliptic quantum group U q,p ( g ).

Infinitely many commuting operators for the elliptic quantum group $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$

Takeo Kojima

We construct two classes of infinitely many commuting operators associated with the elliptic quantum group $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$. We call one of them the integral of motion ${\cal G}_m$, $(m \in {\mathbb N})$ and the other the boundary transfer matrix $T_B(z)$, $(z \in {\mathbb C})$. The integral of motion ${\cal G}_m$ is related to elliptic deformation of the $N$-th KdV theory. The boundary transfer matrix $T_B(z)$ is related to the boundary $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})$ face model. We diagonalize the boundary transfer matrix $T_B(z)$ by using the free field realization of the elliptic quantum group, however diagonalization of the integral of motion ${\cal G}_m$ is open problem even for the simplest case $U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_2})$.

The Boundary States of the q-Deformed Supersymmetric t-J Model with a Boundary

Yang, Wenli, Zhen +1 more

The q-deformed supersymmetric t J model on a semi-infinite lattice is diagonalized by using the level-one vertex operators of the quantum affine superalgebra Uq[sl(2|1)]. We give the bosonization of the boundary states.``

Commutation relations of vertex operators related with the spin representation of Uq(Dn

Yoshiyuki Koga

A new scheme to study the XXZ spin chain in massive regime is introduced by Davies et al in [1]. In this scheme, which is called symmetry approach, the space of states is identified with some Uq(A\_ ) -module. Under this identification, the XXZ Hamiltonian can be constructed on this module as an operator which commutes with the action of Uq(A '). Furthermore, the row transfer matrix and creation (annihilation) operators can be constructed by using vertex operators. In a similar way to [1], the higher spin chain [2] and the models related to the vector representation ofUq(A^) [3], Uq(B^ U q ( D ( n } ) [5] are studied. In this paper, we consider the model related with the spin representation of Uq(Dn ). In physics the model that we consider here is explained as follows. It is a one dimensional quantum spin chain model constructed from the spin representation of Uq(Dn )• The Hamiltonian acts on the space of the infinite tensor product

Free Fermionic Elliptic Reflection Matrices and Quantum Group Invariance

Rodolfo Cuerno, A. González-Ruiz

Diagonal solutions for the reflection matrices associated to the elliptic R matrix of the eight vertex free fermion model are presented. They lead through the second derivative of the open chain transfer matrix to an XY hamiltonian in a magnetic field which is invariant under a quantum deformed Clifford–Hopf algebra.

Infinitely many commuting operators for the elliptic quantum group Uq,p(slN^)U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})Uq,p(slN^)
We construct two classes of infinitely many commuting operators associated with the elliptic quantum group Uq,p(slN^)U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})Uq,p(slN^). We call one of them the integral of motion Gm{\cal G}_mGm, (m∈N)(m \in {\mathbb N})(m∈N) and the other the boundary transfer matrix TB(z)T_B(z)TB(z), (z∈C)(z \in {\mathbb C})(z∈C). The integral of motion Gm{\cal G}_mGm is related to elliptic deformation of the NNN-th KdV theory. The boundary transfer matrix TB(z)T_B(z)TB(z) is related to the boundary Uq,p(slN^)U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_N})Uq,p(slN^) face model. We diagonalize the boundary transfer matrix TB(z)T_B(z)TB(z) by using the free field realization of the elliptic quantum group, however diagonalization of the integral of motion Gm{\cal G}_mGm is open problem even for the simplest case Uq,p(sl2^)U_{q,p}(\hat{sl_2})Uq,p(sl2^).
