Nested bethe ansatz for y(gl(n)) open spin chains with diagonal boundary conditions

Abstract

In this proceeding we present the nested Bethe ansatz for open spin chains of XXX-type, with arbitrary representations (i.e. “spins”) on each site of the chain and diagonal boundary matrices (K +(u), K −(u)). The nested Bethe ansatz applies for a general K −(u), but a particular form of the K +(u) matrix. We give the eigenvalues, Bethe equations and the form of the Bethe vectors for the corresponding models. The Bethe vectors are expressed using a trace formula

We present in a unified and detailed way the nested Bethe ansatz for open spin chains based on(super)algebras, with arbitrary representations (i.e., 'spins') on each site of the chain and diagonal boundary matrices (K + (u), K -(u)).The nested Bethe ansatz applies for a general K -(u), but a particular form of the K + (u) matrix. The construction extends and unifies the results already obtained for open spin chains based on the fundamental representation and for some particular superspin chains. We give the eigenvalues, Bethe equations and the explicit form of the Bethe vectors for the corresponding models. The Bethe vectors are also expressed using a trace formula.

Nested algebraic Bethe ansatz for orthogonal and symplectic open spin chains

Allan John Gerrard, Vidas Regelskis

We present a nested algebraic Bethe ansatz for one-dimensional so2n- and sp2n-symmetric open spin chains with diagonal boundary conditions. The monodromy matrix of these spin chains satisfies the defining relations on the extended twisted Yangians Xρ(so2n,so2nρ)tw and Xρ(sp2n,sp2nρ)tw, respectively. We use a generalisation of the De Vega and Karowski approach allowing us to relate the spectral problem of so2n- or sp2n-symmetric open spin chain to that of gln-symmetric open spin chain studied by Belliard and Ragoucy. We explicitly derive the structure of Bethe vectors, their eigenvalues and the nested Bethe equations. We also provide a proof of Belliard and Ragoucy's trace formula for Bethe vectors of gln-symmetric open spin chains.

The nested Bethe ansatz for ‘all’ closed spin chains

S. Belliard, E. Ragoucy

We present in a unified and detailed way the nested Bethe ansatz for closed spin chains based on or (super)algebras, with arbitrary representations (i.e. 'spins') on each site of the chain. In particular, the case of indecomposable representations of superalgebras is studied. The construction extends and unifies the results already obtained for spin chains based on or and for some particular super-spin chains. We give the Bethe equations and the form of the Bethe vectors. The case of gl (2|1), gl (2|2) and gl (4|4) superalgebras (that are related to AdS/CFT correspondence) is also detailed.

Nested Bethe Ansatz for Spin Ladder Model with Open Boundary Conditions

Wu Jun-Fang, Zhang Chun-Min, Rui‐Hong Yue +1 more

The nested Bethe ansatz (BA) method is applied to find the eigenvalues and the eigenvectors of the transfer matrix for spin-ladder model with open boundary conditions. Based on the reflection equation, we find the general diagonal solution, which determines the general boundary interaction in the Hamiltonian. We introduce the spin-ladder model with open boundary conditions. By finding the solution K± of the reflection equation which determines the nontrivial boundary terms in the Hamiltonian, we diagonalize the transfer matrix of the spin-ladder model with open boundary conditions in the framework of nested BA.

Analytical Bethe Ansatz for closed and open gl(n)-spin chains in any representation

D. Arnaudon, Nicolas Crampé, Anastasia Doikou +2 more

We present an "algebraic treatment" of the analytical Bethe Ansatz. For this purpose, we introduce abstract monodromy and transfer matrices which provide an algebraic framework for the analytical Bethe Ansatz. It allows us to deal with a generic gl(n)-spin chain possessing on each site an arbitrary gl(n)-representation. For open spin chains, we use the classification of the reflection matrices to treat all the diagonal boundary cases. As a result, we obtain the Bethe equations in their full generality for closed and open spin chains. The classifications of finite dimensional irreducible representations for the Yangian (closed spin chains) and for the reflection algebras (open spin chains) are directly linked to the calculation of the transfer matrix eigenvalues. As examples, we recover the usual closed and open spin chains, we treat the alternating spin chains and the closed spin chain with impurity.

Analytical Bethe ansatz for closed and opengl(Script N)-spin chains in any representation

The local Hamiltonian associated with a given integrable spin chain needs to be computed case by case. A general formula is still lacking at that point. As examples, we recover the usual Hamiltonian and Bethe equations for closed and open spin chains; we treat the alternating spin chains and the closed spin chain with an impurity. We also compute the Hamiltonian and Bethe equations for the open spin chain model used in the context of large- N QCD.
