Abstract

We show that spin squeezing implies entanglement for quantum tripartite-state, where the subsystem of the bipartite-state is identical. We study the relation between spin squeezing parameters and entanglement through the quantum entropy of a system starts initially in a pure state when the cavity is binomial. We show that spin squeezing can be a convenient tool to give some insight into the subsystems entanglement dynamics when the bipartite subsystem interacts simultaneously with the cavity field subsystem, specially when the interaction occurs off-resonantly without and with a nonlinear medium contained in the cavity field subsystem. We illustrate that, in case of large off-resonance interaction, spin squeezing clarifies the properties of entanglement almost with full success. However, it is not a general rule when the cavity is assumed to be filled with a non-linear medium. In this case, we illustrate that the insight into entanglement dynamics becomes more clearly in case of a weak nonlinear medium than in strong nonlinear medium. In parallel, the role of the phase space distribution in quantifying entanglement is also studied. The numerical results of Husimi $Q$-function show that the integer strength of the nonlinear medium produces Schrödinger cat states which is necessary for quantum entanglement.

Tripartite entanglement dynamics and entropic squeezing of a three-level atom interacting with a bimodal cavity field

Mohammad Javad Faghihi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly, M. Bagheri Harouni

In this paper, we study the interaction between a $Λ$-type three-level atom and two quantized electromagnetic fields which are simultaneously injected in a bichromatic cavity surrounded by a Kerr medium in the presence of the field-field interaction (parametric down conversion) and detuning parameters. By applying a canonical transformation, the introduced model is reduced to a well-known form of the generalized Jaynes-Cummings model. Under particular initial conditions which may be prepared for the atom and the field, the time evolution of state vector of the entire system is analytically evaluated. Then, the dynamics of atom is studied through the evolution of the atomic population inversion. In addition, two different measures of entanglement between the tripartite system (three entities make the system: two field modes and one atom) i.e., von Neumann and linear entropy are investigated. Also, two kinds of entropic uncertainty relations, from which entropy squeezing can be obtained, are discussed. In each case, the influences of the detuning parameters and Kerr medium on the above nonclassicality features are analyzed via numerical results, in detail. It is illustrated that the amount of the above-mentioned physical phenomena can be tuned by choosing the evolved parameters, appropriately.

Squeezing Property of Binomial State Field under the Anti-Tavis-Cummings Model

Hong‐Guang Piao

The interaction between two identical two-level atoms and single-mode binomial light field is studied in anti-Tavis-Cummings model, and the atoms stay in entangled state initially. When the classical field is strong enough, the interaction between the atoms and the light field can turn into an effective anti-Tavis-Cummings model and Tavis-Cummings model under the condition of large detuning. In this paper,we mainly probe into the squeezing property of the binomial state in anti-Tavis-Cummings model, and the influence of initial field parameters on the squeezing property of the field are discussed. The results show that the degree and period of squeezing depend strongly on the initial parameters, and energy nonconservation item has a great impact on squeezing property.

Entanglement Dynamics Induced by a Squeezed Coherent Cavity Coupled Nonlinearly with a Qubit and Filled with a Kerr-Like Medium

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

An analytical solution for a master equation describing the dynamics of a qubit interacting with a nonlinear Kerr-like cavity through intensity-dependent coupling is established. A superposition of squeezed coherent states is propped as the initial cavity field. The dynamics of the entangled qubit-cavity states are explored by negativity for different deformed function of the intensity-dependent coupling. We have examined the effects of the Kerr-like nonlinearity and the qubit-cavity detuning as well as the phase cavity damping on the generated entanglement. The intensity-dependent coupling increases the sensitivity of the generated entanglement to the phase-damping. The stability and the strength of the entanglement are controlled by the Kerr-like nonlinearity, the qubit-cavity detuning, and the initial cavity non-classicality. These physical parameters enhance the robustness of the qubit-cavity entanglement against the cavity phase-damping. The high initial cavity non-classicality enhances the robustness of the qubit-cavity entanglement against the phase-damping effect.

Spin squeezing and entanglement in superposition of nonlinear spin coherent states

Azita Naji, Mojtaba Jafarpour, Fatemeh Sammak

We study squeezing and entanglement in superposition of a class of nonlinear spin coherent states. We analyze these properties as a function of the coherence and superposition parameters, number of qubits and the Hamiltonians involved, by presenting analytical and numerical results. We specifically observe that a subclass of these states, the even non-linear cat states are maximally entangled and squeezed, while another related subclass, the odd non-linear cat states, are entangled but not squeezed at all.

Pure and Mixed State Entanglement Dynamics in Tavis-Cummings Model with Squeezed Coherent Thermal States

Koushik Mandal, Satyanarayana, M. V.

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of two atoms interacting with a single-mode cavity field within the Tavis-Cummings model in the presence of noise. The atoms are initially prepared in either pure Bell states or mixed Werner states, allowing a direct comparison of pure- and mixed-state entanglement. The cavity field is described by generalized single-mode squeezed coherent thermal states, incorporating both thermal and quantum noise effects. Atom-atom and atom-field entanglement are quantified using concurrence and negativity, respectively. We analyze entanglement sudden death and revival, and examine how Ising-type coupling, dipole-dipole interaction, Kerr nonlinearity, and detuning modify the entanglement dynamics. Our results show that thermal photons generally suppress entanglement and enhance sudden death, while squeezing counteracts these effects. The influence of nonlinearities and interatomic interactions depends sensitively on the purity of the initial atomic state, leading to qualitatively different behaviors for Bell and Werner states.
