Abstract

Quantum telecloning is a multiparty quantum communication protocol which allows quantum information broadcasting. It can be, therefore, seen as a generalization of quantum teleportation. However, in contrast to quantum teleportation, it requires the resource of multipartite entanglement. Here we present an experimental demonstration of universal symmetric 1->2 quantum telecloning of qubits via four-photon polarisation entanglement.

Asymmetric quantum telecloning ofd-level systems and broadcasting of entanglement to different locations using the “many-to-many” communication protocol

Iulia Ghiu

We propose a generalization of quantum teleportation: the so-called many-to-many quantum communication of the information of a d-level system from N spatially separated senders to $M>N$ receivers situated at different locations. We extend the concept of asymmetric telecloning from qubits to d-dimensional systems. We investigate the broadcasting of entanglement by using local $\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{1}2$ optimal universal asymmetric Pauli machines and show that the maximal fidelities of the two final entangled states are obtained when symmetric machines are applied. Cloning of entanglement is studied using a nonlocal optimal universal asymmetric cloning machine and we show that the symmetric machine optimally copies the entanglement. The ``many-to-many'' teleportation scheme is applied in order to distribute entanglement shared between two observers to two pairs of spatially separated observers.

Experimental quantum telecloning across silicon photonic chips

Zicong Wen, Kai Wang, Bochi Wu +4 more

Telecloning -- the combination of quantum teleportation and cloning -- offers a powerful mechanism to disseminate unknown quantum states to multiple spatially separated recipients with optimal fidelity. Despite its conceptual importance for quantum networks, an experimental demonstration of symmetric qubit quantum telecloning remains elusive, particularly due to the challenges of generating multipartite entangled resource states and implementing stable multi-photon interference across distributed nodes. Here, we realize the optimal 1 to 2 symmetric quantum telecloning using a scalable silicon photonic platform. We implement a six-photon protocol using two independent, fiber-linked photonic chips: one generating a heralded input state and the other preparing a four-photon entangled resource state. By performing an interchip Bell-state measurement, we successfully distribute the input state into two optimal clones at remote nodes. We observe an interchip cloning fidelity of 78.45 $\pm$ 1.39%, exceeding the classical limit of 2/3 by 8 standard deviations. Our results demonstrate the robust generation and manipulation of complex multi-photon states between integrated chips, providing a foundational building block for large-scale multi-party quantum networks.

Universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning of qubit

Yan‐Ling Li, Jian Feng, Meng Xiang-Guo +2 more

A scheme combining three processes of quantum teleportation, optimal universal quantum flipping and optimal universal quantum cloning for universal teleflipping and telecloning of arbitrary qubit is proposed. When a particular four-particle entangled state shared by the sender and three spatially separated receivers is used as quantum information channel, after the sender's Bell measurement, class ical communication and each receiver's local unitary operation, one receiver can get one orthogonal complementing state of the original unknown state with the o ptimal fidelity of 2/3, the other two receivers can respectively get one copy of the original unknown state with the optimal fidelity of 5/6. This scheme implem ents the universal quantum teleflipping and telecloning simultaneously with corr esponding optimal fidelity by using the reduced entanglement. The key to realizi ng this scheme is the construction of the particular four-particle entangled sta te shared by the sender and three receivers used as quantum information channel. The entanglement structure of the special four-particle entangled state is anal yzed.

Demonstration of Quantum Telecloning of Optical Coherent States

Satoshi Koike, Hiroki Takahashi, Hidehiro Yonezawa +4 more

We demonstrate unconditional telecloning for the first time. In particular, we symmetrically and unconditionally teleclone coherent states of light from one sender to two receivers, achieving a fidelity for each clone of F = 0.58 +/- 0.01, which surpasses the classical limit. This is a manipulation of a new type of multipartite entanglement whose nature is neither purely bipartite nor purely tripartite.

A quantum logic network for implementing optimal symmetric universal and phase-covariant telecloning of a bipartite entangled state

Fanyu Meng, Ai‐Dong Zhu

A quantum logic network to implement quantum telecloning is presented in this paper. The network includes two parts: the first part is used to create the telecloning channel and the second part to teleport the state. It can be used not only to implement universal telecloning for a bipartite entangled state which is completely unknown, but also to implement the phase-covariant telecloning for one that is partially known. Furthermore, the network can also be used to construct a tele-triplicator. It can easily be implemented in experiment because only single- and two-qubit operations are used in the network.

Generalized Quantum Telecloning

Gordon, G, Rigolin, G

We show a generalized telecloning (GTC) protocol where the quantum channel is non-optimally entangled and each channel qubit undergoes a different decoherence process. We show that one can increase the fidelity of telecloned states by properly choosing the measurement basis at Alice's, albeit turning the protocol to a probabilistic one. We also show how one can convert the GTC protocol to the teleportation protocol via proper unitary operations.
