Fisher Information and Means: Some Questions in the Classical and Quantum Settings.

Paolo Gibilisco

The algebraic and geometric properties of Fisher Information, its relations with the theory of operator means have been very active fields in the last decades. In this paper I try to shed some light on recent results and to address some open questions which could in principle give some new directions to the field.

Universal Resonance Field Theory: A Unified Geometric Framework for Information, Measurement, and Gravity

Branimir Sabljić

This monograph presents the complete theoretical formulation of the Universal Resonance Field Theory (UR), a unified geometric framework connecting informational geometry, quantum measurement, critical phenomena, and gravitational structure. The work integrates Fisher-information dynamics, hazard-modified Ricci flow, an extended Einstein–Maxwell sector, and a renormalization-group derivation of the universal critical exponent α ≈ 1.27. The framework provides a single-outcome quantum measurement mechanism, a geometric generalization of the Born rule (GWBR), and a predictive informational mass tensor applicable across physical, biological, and cosmological scales. This document serves as the foundational reference for all UR-related empirical and theoretical research.

Fluctuations, gravity, and the quantum potential

Robert Carroll

We show how the quantum potential arises in various ways and trace its connection to quantum fluctuations and Fisher information along with its realization in terms of Weyl curvature. It is a quantization factor for certain classical systems as well as an expression for quantum matter in gravity theories of Weyl-Dirac type. We extract theories and examples from the literature, providing connections and interpretations, and make a few new observations.
