Multi-particle entanglement and generalized N-particle teleportation using quantum statistical correlations

Abstract

Construction of multi-particle entangled states and direct teleportation of N-(spin 1/2) particles are important areas of quantum information processing. A number of different schemes which have been presented already, address the problem through controlled teleportation. In this article, a criterion based on standard quantum statistical correlations employed in the many body virial expansions is used to determine maximum entanglement for a N-particle state. These states remain entangled through proper traces to states for a smaller number of particles and can be generalized for arbitrary number of particles. It is shown that they are quite useful in generalized, N-particle, direct teleportation. The corresponding quantum gates are also indicated for teleportation schemes from simple computational basis states.

Quantum entanglement and generalized information processing using entangled states with odd number of particles

Kumar, Atul, Mangala Sunder Krishnan

We discuss and generalize multi-particle entanglement based on statistical correlations using Ursell-Mayer type of cluster coefficients. Cluster coefficients are used to distinguish different, independent entangled systems as well as those which are connected through local unitary transformations. We propose a genuinely and maximally entangled five-particle state for efficient information processing. The physical realization of entangled states and information processing protocols are analyzed using quantum gates and circuit diagrams. We show that the direct as well as controlled communication can be achieved using the state proposed here with certainty in the case of teleportation and with a high degree of optimity in the case of dense coding. In the case of dense coding the amount of information transferred from the sender to the receiver is always a maximum irrespective of the measurement basis used by the controller.

Controlled Teleportation of Multi-Qudit Quantum Information

Ji Hua, Zhan Xiao-Gui, Zeng Hao-Sheng

We present a controlled teleportation scheme for teleporting an arbitrary superposition state of an M -qudit quantum system. The scheme employs only one entangled state as quantum channel, which consists of the qudits from Alice, Bob and every agent. The quantum operations used in the teleportation process are a series of qudit Bell measurements, single-qudit projective measurements, qudit H -gates, qudit-Pauli gates and qudit phase gates. It is shown that the original state can be restored by the receiver only on the condition that all the agents collaborate. If any agent does not cooperate, the original state can not be fully recovered.

Quantum teleportation of an unknown two-level two-particle entangled state

Ling Yun Hao

Based on the standard teleportation scheme and the controlled teleportation scheme for an unknown quantum state of a single two-level particle,it was generalized the discussion to two-particle cases and performed a detailed calculation for the two particle problem. It was discussed briefly the problem of transportation of any unknown quantum state of arbitrary number of two-level particles also.

A general scheme for multiparty controlled quantum teleportation of an arbitrary N-particle state

Jun, Ye, Yue Li, Yu Liu +1 more

There is much interest in the multiparty quantum communications where quantum teleportation using high dimensional entangled quantum channel is one of the promising tools. In this paper, we propose a more general scheme for M-party controlled teleportation of an arbitrary N-particle quantum state using N-1 identical Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs and one (M+2)-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state together as quantum channel. Based on which a 2-party controlled teleportation of an arbitrary 3-particle state is tested with our scheme as an example.

Teleportation of an Arbitrary Three-particle W State Through Three-particle W State

Gao Yun-feng

A scheme for teleporting an arbitrary three-particle W state from a sender to either of the two receivers is proposed, where the three three-particle W states quantum channel are taken as quantum channels. There are two ways to realize the intention of teleportation. It is proved that, for such maximally entangled quantum channels, there is still a certain probability of successful teleportation if the sender performs three generalized Bell-state measurements while either of the two receivers performs an appropriate unitary transformation with the help of the other suitable measurements in the basis of {|0,|1} and classical information;on the other hand, the probability of successful teleportation is not affected by the order of operations. The present scheme may be directly generalized to teleport an unknown N-particle W state from a sender to either of the two receivers by using N W states as quantum channels,as well as performing N Bell measurements.

Probabilistic Teleportation of an Arbitrary n-Particle Entangled State

XIYong-Jun, Yong-Jun, Fang Fang Fang Fang +5 more

A scheme for teleporting an arbitrary n-particle entangled state via n pairs of non-maximally entangled states is proposed. The probability of successful teleportation is determined only by the smaller coefficients of the partially entangled pairs. The method is very easy to be realized.
